"You're bleeding. What happened to you?"
"Are Paige and Meghan fine?"
"They're okay, someone is tending to them."
She felt her energy seep out; what had kept her standing was her adrenaline. Storm felt Chase pick her up gently.
She curled into his arms; he was so warm and felt very safe. Her body trembled,
"You're okay, I have you."
When they got to his place, he sat her down and seemed to be fuming. He took the first aid kit, and started to clean her wounds; he did not say a word.
"Are you mad at me Chase?"
"I'm not, I'm mad at myself."
"Don't be, it's not like we saw any of this coming."
"Still, what if they had done more to you?"
"I don't think they will kill me."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I spoke to them."
"Spoke?"
"Yes......."
"What did those fuckers say?"
"That they need me to breed."
"Breed?"
"They want me to have sex so that they can have a lineage of white wolves."
She could see the rage in his eyes, "Do they want to rape you?"
"No, they said they would give me time to fall in love with the one I would be breeding with."
"What the fuck? Are they also white wolves?"
"No, they're Mystics, half white and half black wolves. They're known as Mystics."
"This is getting more fucked up by the minute."
"According to them, I'm called a Muraco."
"What in the genuine fuck?"
"I know, but they said that they would take me by force if push comes to shove."
"Then they will have to kill me first if they want to get to you."
She leaned in and kissed him. "Thank you."
"No need to thank me. I won't let them take my girl from me."
After nursing her wounds, they lay in bed. She was typing her assignment, and Chase was deep in thought,
"Are you okay?"
"It makes me sick at the thought that they would kidnap you."
"I did tell them that, but I just don't want to be separated from, tears started to threaten."
"Hey, hey, I won't let them take you away from me." He wiped her tears and pulled her into his arms,
"This is where I want to be."
"I will catch them, there is no way. I will have to upgrade the security."
She nodded, anything that would make them not get to her she wanted. She took her phone and dialed Meghan.
"Storm, we were waiting for your call." Said Meghan.
"Are you okay?" Paige added.
"I'm fine, but I'm worried about you two."
"We're fine, and we both are sleeping at Louis and Zane's place."
"I'm glad, sorry that you two were dragged into this."
"Don't be sorry, we will always be there for you," Meghan replied.
"I will tell you guys everything that happened."
"Did you see who it was?" Paige replied.
"I saw them, and I got their names, but I've never seen them before."
"We're glad Chase got to you in time," Meghan replied.
"Did you two call him?"
"Yes, but we were scared that we hadn't done it fast enough," Paige replied
"Thank you guys, what would I do without you?"
They talked to a bit more but she was very exhausted; she was drained from everything, and relaxing sounded like heaven to her now.
She lay down and covered herself in his blankets. Chase touched her hair, "I won't let this happen again. I can't bear to lose you."
"I can't live without you Chase, there would be no point at all."
Chase leaned down and kissed her forehead. She closed her eyes and savored this moment, there was no way she would get taken without a fight.
He was everything to her, and so was she for him.
