Previously on Tyler... Well just reread the last chapter son! I'm way too lazy for this I'm sorry, let's just get into this, okay? Roll the chapter.
The next day has finally arrived. The day Harambe will die, well at least that's what originally happened. Not on Tyler's watch though as he is determined changing the Turning Point.
Just as the zoo was opening, Tyler already arrived earlier than anyone. He went straight to Harambe and continued communicating with him with monkey noises, although he toned it down a bit compared to yesterday. He also came in prepared and was holding an umbrella in case Harambe starts hurling some shit against him.
Harambe was just quietly observing Tyler do his thing. He saw how insistent Tyler was in having him visit the Chinese Restaurant that day. Despite this, he still wasn't convinced and remained persistent on not going. Cesar then arrived to the scene.
"Did you managed to convince Harambe, Tyler-san?" Cesar asked while wearing a full raincoat considering what happened to him yesterday.
"I don't think it's working right now, we gotta find another way" Tyler said.
"Well at the very least, he is no longer throwing a barrage of shit to us so I guess that's a step" Cesar said.
"That's not enough, we gotta find a way. Imma hit the block and think of something" Tyler said.
Tyler left Cesar to take a walk around the park. Harambe despite his stance, was still quietly observing Tyler from his place. Not long after, Tyler came across a group of zoo visitors who were visiting Harambe's place.
"That no good gorilla Harambe, it sickens me how much leeway he gets for being a monkey" one of the zoo visitor said.
"The zoo would be better without him. I mean what does he even do? Stupid ass monkey, need them gone for real" another zoo visitor said.
Tyler heard this and was triggered immediately.
"Hey buddy, what did you say again?" Tyler calmly asked.
"Excuse me?" one of the zoo visitor asked.
"You were talking mad shit about Harambe, I cannot let that slide" Tyler said aggressively.
"What do you care anyways?" one of the zoo visitor asked.
"What do I care..." suddenly, Tyler became reflective. He began to question himself why was he being passionate about this in the first place. Then everything clicked all of a sudden.
Such memories flooded and returned back to Tyler. Lost memories he never knew he once had. He remembered everything, why he was so passionate about the topic. Why he was so eager in saving Harambe's life.
"I care because Harambe means everything to me. I, Tyler, am a fan of the gorilla you are talking shit to..." cue the Tyler monologue.
TYLER'S MONOLOGUE
When I was a boy... I mean I still am but I mean the younger version of me which is technically right now since I've time traveled so naturally I'm younger- anyways, that's not the point. Take two.
TYLER'S MONOLOGUE TAKE TWO
When I was a boy, I had full of insecurities. Believe it or not, I wasn't always like this. The confident Tyler you knew was once a shy little kid. Then everything changed when I opened the TV and saw him, Harambe...
I saw Harambe picking his nose live on National TV. That very moment changed everything for me. I guess you could say that was a version of my Turning Point.
To you, it was just a gorilla picking his nose caught on camera, but to me it was something else. Despite knowing he's being recorded, Harambe remained true to himself. Not caring whether he would be judged by the world, he did it anyways and showed everyone who he is: a gorilla doing gorilla things.
As a boy, it changed the way how I think. Harambe's genuineness is something I admired and it inspires me on a daily basis. It inspired me to not just be true to myself, but to strive and become a better version of it.
That is something you meatheads will never understand. If the world rejects this philosophy, then I shall reject the world itself. I REJECT MY HUMANITY BOZO!
TYLER'S MONOLOGUE ENDS
The zoo visitors was annoyed by the monologue and just left the scene afterwards.
"Tyler-san... humanity might have a chance because of you" Cesar whispered to himself.
Cesar was not the only one who heard the monologue. Harambe also heard everything. Harambe was moved by Tyler's speech.
Tyler arrived back to Harambe's place. He brought back with him a bunch of bananas.
"Got any new ideas?" Cesar asked.
"None at the moment. Brought these bad boys to recharge my brain" Tyler said while munching the bananas.
"I'm not sure that's how it works... Anyways, if I remember correctly, his death apparently happened in the afternoon. We still got a couple of hours left to save him" Cesar said.
Suddenly, Harambe pointed to Tyler and then pointed towards the banana. The two was shocked of the new development.
"Oh shit Tyler-san, this might be it" Cesar exclaimed.
"What am I supposed to do?" Tyler asked.
"I think he wants you to give those bananas to him" Cesar suggested.
Tyler gave all of the bananas he have to Harambe. Harambe then started eating all of them one by one.
"You know, I wasn't always like this..."
Suddenly, a deep voice can be heard talking.
"Where the hell is that coming from?" a confused Tyler asked.
"I think it's coming from- Harambe?" Cesar said while being surprised.
"You... can... talk?" a dumbfounded Tyler asked while remembering all of the monkey noises attempt he made just to reach and connect with Harambe.
"Buddy I'm bilingual" Harambe responsed.
Harambe then continued and we are entering another monologue here folks, sit tight.
HARAMBE'S MONOLOGUE
Back in my younger days, I was once a noble and glorious Gorilla. I was the leader of the Harambe Clan, and we were the elites among elites of the Gorilla race. King Kong? That poor bastard has nothing on me. At least that's what I thought so...
You see behind a successful Gorilla, is a strong female Gorilla. Her name was Gloria and she was the love of my life. She was beautiful, elegant, every adjective under the sun that exudes grace is used towards her. She was my world, until everything changed...
You see us Gorillas, specifically those on top own a giant banana. Being the leader of my clan, I owned the biggest one among the entire Gorilla race. That is until King Kong came back to the picture. I swear to Monkey King, that bastard took some steroids to his banana or some shit. He boasted his bigger banana among our clan.
My precious Gloria... I cannot believe it. She went with that bastard King Kong. My own wife... left me for a bigger banana 3.
I was a mess when it happened. I resigned immediately as the head of the Harambe clan. I could not bear the pain of losing the love of my life. I decided voluntarily to be locked inside this zoo. I plan to remain inside these cages for the rest of my miserable life... that is until you came, Tyler.
I have heard your speech and it broke me. It made me reevaluate my life and honestly speaking, your speech replenished my will to live. You ignited my desire to continue and fight for another day. Thus, I agree with your proposition Tyler. I'll come with you to the Chinese Restaurant.
HARAMBE'S MONOLOGUE ENDS
The usually calm Cesar found himself being moved by the backstory and was teary eyed. On the other hand, Tyler was facing the other way around and was eating some banana chips.
"You're giving this 14 year old kid way too much credit, Harambe. We should go now" Tyler said while smirking.
In the midst of this very touching scene, a storm was brewing. Unbeknownst to Tyler, the zoo visitors he argued earlier were actually a part of the "Reject Monke, Keep Humanity Activist Group". These people are radical extremists who reject the Theory of Evolution hardcore.
"You brought the Anti-Monke Gun right?" one of the members asked.
"I did. All we gotta do is shoot that damn monkey" another member said.
Their plan is to assassinate Harambe as they deemed him to be a very prominent figure of the Monke race. By eliminating him, it will further help push their agendas which is I'm not even sure what it was but they just want Harambe gone, asap.
Tyler, Cesar and Harambe made their way to a pickup truck which the zookeper let them borrow. Harambe sat on the trunk, Tyler sat on the passenger seat and Cesar sat at the driver seat since he's the only one who knows how to drive.
"So this Chinese restaurant is located in the middle of the city right?" Cesar asked.
Tyler nodded and the trio made their way. Trailing them are a group of cars and Harambe notices this.
"Hey I think someone is following us" Harambe said.
Cesar looked at the side mirror and thought they were familiar.
"Wait a second, aren't those guys the one you argued against Tyler?" Cesar said.
Suddenly, shots can be heard. It was not long after when it began hitting the truck.
"Shit! They're firing at us. Hit the gas, hit the gas" Tyler commanded.
A wild chase scene began to emerge from all this. It looks like straight from an action flick as they traverse around the city trying to escape those radical extremists. Harambe then thought of something.
"Hey Tyler, do you still have some bananas?" Harambe asked.
"I was saving them for later but here you go" Tyler gave the bananas to Harambe.
"I don't think this is the right time to have a snack fellas" Cesar said while trying to dodge the cars ahead of him.
"Don't worry about it, just focus on the road and try not to get us killed. I got an idea but you boys might need to hold your breathe for a while" Harambe explained.
Harambe began munching those bananas and consecutively shitting them. He then uses these shit to hurl against the enemies. Harambe locked in like he never before. It took a while and as a result the city was covered in shit but he managed to pull through despite the rocky chase. First he took one car, then another one, and another until only one car remains chasing them.
"It's working!" Tyler said in an excited tone.
Suddenly, a loud gunshot can be heard. It was so sudden that you had no time to react. The worst thing imaginable has happened. Harambe was shot.
"Did you get him?" a member asked.
"Right in the ass, I did" the member with the Anti-Monke Gun confirmed.
"That's a guaranteed kill, nice shot. Let's get out of here before the cops shows up".
The radical extremists left the scene immediately. Cesar stopped the truck and parked it at the side of the road. Tyler quickly came out of the truck and went to the trunk to check on Harambe. He then saw the gorilla unconscious, bloodied. All Tyler could do at that situation is to scream:
"NOOOOOO"
His idol was shot. Will Harambe survive this or will he not? Find out on the next chapter of Don't Mind Tyler, He's Just Doing His Business!
