I guess it was scummy ending the last chapter with a cliffhanger. Gimme a break, I had to grab the opportunity, okay? Well... nobody has died in this series, YET. Womp womp, there goes your preview. Let's just get to the chapter folks, I'm starting to worry as well for Harambe's safety.
Things were starting to get emotional when surprise surprise, Harambe is revealed to actually survive.
"Why the long face, I'm not dead yet. It takes a lot to kill this Gorilla you know?" Harambe proudly said.
Tyler hugged Harambe which was actually quite a wholesome scene.
"But how?" Cesar asked.
"Well thankfully, the bullet was caught by my buttcheeks" Harambe explained.
"Nothing surprises me anymore" Cesar said.
"Let's just get going alright" Tyler suggested.
Luckily, they stopped exactly in front of the Chinese Restaurant they were supposed to go to in the first place. They ordered every item in the menu and began feasting as they truly deserved it after everything they've been through that day.
"That's it..." Cesar had a realization as he's about to take a bite of the siomai.
"What's up?" Tyler asked.
"The news article reported Harambe died this day right? All this time we did our best to prevent that from happening, but what if... we didn't prevent anything in actuality and we just stayed on the same course" Cesar explained.
"What do you mean by that?" Harambe asked.
"You see, I remember reading some conspiracy theories about how you managed to fake your death. How you ended up becoming a chef for a restaurant. If I remembered it correctly, it was a chinese restaurant. It then sinked in that this was the exact one those conspiracy theories were talking about" Cesar continued to explain.
"Does that mean-"
"Yes Tyler, this was meant to happen. I figured those lunatics extremists must've paid the media some false stories they curated. Little did they know, our friend here survived all of it" Cesar concluded.
"Well I always wanted to be a chef so that checks out" Harambe added.
"Maybe this whole time travel thing wasn't necessary. It was always meant to happen" Cesar said.
"I'm no Einstein but I'm pretty sure that's not how time travel works" Harambe commented.
"I have to disagree on what you said. I'm glad this trip happened either way" a smiling Tyler said.
Cesar then tapped Tyler and signaled it was time to go. Tyler finished his meal and Harambe was talking to the owner about his application. Harambe then approached Tyler.
"Before you go, I want you to have this" Harambe said.
He handed Tyler a gorilla action figure. The same one he owned years later.
"That figure is a reminder to stay true to yourself no matter what. Continue to inspire others just as you have inspired me Tyler. In your darkest hours, always remember that somewhere out there, you have someone rooting for you. Harambe wishes you the best" Harambe said.
"Thank you Harambe" Tyler said.
Tyler and Cesar bid farewell to Harambe, as they shook hands again to do the time travel thingie.
Tyler woke up.
"Did it worked? Cesar! Cesar!" Tyler said.
Cesar was nowhere to be found.
"Was it all just a dream?" Tyler asked himself.
He reaches out for his phone and confirmed he's actually in the present day. He opened the search tab to check on something.
"I gotta check if he survived. I gotta check about Ha- wait a minute... who is it exactly I'm checking out?" Tyler can't remember.
"It probably wasn't that important" Tyler said.
Tyler began preparing for school as he's about to face the same old challenges again. The Notebook, the Van Guys, all of that. This time around, there's something in him that changed. He no longer feels the pressure and was confident he'll be able to face those adversities head strong.
"Monke Out" Tyler bids farewell to his gorilla action figure as he heads out for school.
In their living room, the television was playing. It featured a Chinese Restaurant and the story on how much growth they had for the past couple of years.
"What is the secret ingredient behind the success of the restaurant?" Aaliyah, one of the interviewers asked.
"Well, I owe it a lot to my chef. I ain't disclosing their identity though as he prefers to be anonymous" the owner explained.
The last shot of the show shows a very delicious chinese food with a touch of banana at the side. The chapter ends with a very important lesson: reject humanity, return to monke.
Wait, don't go yet. This chapter hasn't ended yet. I still have a word quota to fill, chill. Besides, I did promise to tackle the notebook plot remember?
EPILOGUE TIME!
Remember Eet, Darren, the whole gang shenanigans. No? What do you mean you don't remember, that was just the previous arc. Jeez, did Dr. Strange wiped your memory as well. Anyways, let's talk about them!
A couple of days later, Tyler was on his way to the mall. He is with the Ekalamosus Gang hanging out and plan to use the cash prize they won from the POTA Tournament. Suddenly, Tyler saw the Yellow Van.
"Shit, they're here" Tyler said.
Tyler hid behind a trash can and the gang noticed his weird behavior. So much for the facing the adversity headstrong noh?
"Zip it! Running from a serious threat doesn't make you a coward fool. Anyways, I gotta hide from them, I'll catch up with y'all later. Don't make Eet wait for you guys" Tyler said.
"Boss will understand and can wait. Do you want us squaring up with your opps Tyler?" Daks suggested.
"No, it's too risky. They're above your pay grade alright" Tyler replied.
The Van Guys pulled out of the Van, clearly looking for Tyler.
"We're already near the mall, let's just blend in. They'll have a hard time looking for you there Tyler" Daks suggested.
"Good idea, let's go" Tyler said.
Tyler and gang ran into the mall. They finally spotted Eet waiting for them outside of the Women's Clothing Store called Bob & Virginia (B&V in short).
"Sup, what's cracking? Wait, what's the rush?" a confused Eeet asked.
Tyler looked backwards and saw the Van Guys were heading to the same direction they're taking.
"No time to explain, let's go" Tyler instructed.
The gang went inside of the B&V Store. To blend in, Tyler had a brilliant idea.
"Let's crossdress fellas".
Everyone crossdressed including Tyler who is now wearing a gothic lolita fashion. The Van Guys then entered the store as well. Miraculously, Tyler's plan worked. They did not recognized Tyler at all.
Everyone changed back to their normal clothes except Tyler and Eet. Eet looks like a gyaru seen in mainstream anime.
"You're not changing Eet?" Tyler asked.
"It feels a bit comfy, I might wear it for a while. What about you?" Eet asked.
"I gotta blend in" Tyler said.
Eet then told everyone they'll be going to the nearby French Restaurant to eat some fancy food using the prize money.
"I was here earlier cause Darren texted me to meetup at B&V Store. Unfortunately, he had some emergency and will be late a bit. Well, that was a while ago as he texted his gang and him are at the French Restaurant waiting for us" Eet explained.
"Oh, you guys are cool now?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah, we made up days ago. His mom was also discharged from the hospital. Everything's good now" Eet said.
"That's great" Tyler said.
As they're near to the destination, Tyler noticed something. Something is missing. Tyler lost the notebook.
"Oh".
Tyler was so confident from the ending of the previous story that he decided to bring the notebook with him at all times. He figured it is best that he has access to it rather than just simply leaving it at home.
"Guys I think I left something at the B&V Store, Imma catch up with y'all later" Tyler said.
He went back to the dressing room but unfortunately, the notebook was nowhere to be found. Just as Tyler was about to exit the store, someone approached him.
"You're Tyler right?" a girl asked.
The girl was Athena, a classmate of Tyler. She is also one of the 7 A's which Tyler had to deal with.
"Uhh... no?" Tyler trying his best to deny her.
"I know it's you silly, can't fool my Fujosji Artist eyes" Athena said.
"Okay... you got me. What are you doing here?" Tyler asked.
"The same can be said for you, what are you doing here in this store?" Athena asked back.
"Hey I asked first! Fine, I guess I'm... here to meet with my friends" Tyler explained.
"Interesting... are they into crossdressing as well?" Athena asked.
"I... guess so" Tyler said.
"Great! Can I meet them? I was originally looking for inspiration on my next Yaoi artwork" Athena explained.
"Okay...".
The two went to the French Restaurant. There, they saw Bhoskz Eet Eet and Darren Loverboy kissing and making out. Their respective gangs were watching with a smile on their faces, including Tyler too. They also realized that they are now one big happy family gang. Coincidentally, the gang members for both were wearing various colors such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Happy Pride innit even though this chapter is being written in the middle of August.
"Gyahhhh!".
Athena was having the time of her life. She is fangirling to the max as she can't believe her Yaoi fantasies is happening right before her eyes. Athena then began drawing the entire scene from her sketchpad.
"I guess I won't need the notebook anymore, Adam-sensei" Athena whispered to herself.
Tyler heard this unbeknownst to her. Instead of just feeling victorious, Tyler was also feeling dreadful simultaneously. Yes he was happy for the gang. Yes he managed to cross out another problem and he only has to deal with 5 A's. But the fact remains that the notebook is missing and he has to find it. Where could the notebook possibly have ended?
