A convoy of cars swept majestically into Aethelgard. Special Assistant York had already made all the arrangements and cleared the way.
After all, security in Aethelgard was incredibly tight. Any other convoy would have had to go through a lengthy approval process to enter the city.
"It's been so long since Timothy was discharged from the hospital. Since we're free now, why don't we go visit him in a little while?"
Vera Warner suggested to Victor Morgan. She was actually a little hesitant, worried that it might be inappropriate to keep bringing up Timothy Lawson in front of him.
But to her surprise, Victor Morgan was perfectly calm about it. He never doubted Vera in the slightest.
"Of course. We should. I'll go with you in a little while."
Victor Morgan readily agreed, but then he considered a potential issue.
"Are you sure you want to go straight to his house? I think it would be better to invite him out for a private meal with us."
