Once she was gone, Ethan immediately closed the library and rushed toward his dormitory. He noticed that his running speed had increased severalfold—but he didn't have time to dwell on it. Too much had happened in an instant. He needed space and time to process everything.
As soon as he entered his dormitory, he shut the door tightly and headed straight for the bathroom. He filled the bathtub with water, removed his clothes, and stepped inside.
