As Johnny and his group of friends walk around Golf N' Stuff, they are stopped by Derek, Oliver, and two other Cobra Kai members show up in front of them. The other kids run off, but Zack doesn't get away.
"Where you going, Zacky?" Derek says.
"Come on man, he's harmless." Oliver tells him.
Derek then throws Zack into a wall, back first. He then starts gasping for air, unable to breathe. Zack slowly grabs his inhaler, but Derek snatches it out of his hand.
"Come on Zacky boy, if you want it you need to work for it."
Zack reaches for the inhaler, still trying to breathe, but falls to the ground, almost motionless.
"Jesus, Derek he's dieing!" Oliver yells at Derek.
"Relax, Cain I'll give it back to him. Eventually."
Derek then waves the inhaler infront of Zack's almost unconscious body. It is then kicked out of his hand, and into the air. Ryan quickly catches it and he and Emily run to Zack. As they put the inhaler to his mouth, Derek gets angry.
"This doesn't concern you, Larusso."
Ryan ignores Derek and the other Cobra's, focusing only on his friend.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!"
Ryan still ignores Derek, as Zack regains consciousness.
"Hey, you alright, man?" Ryan asks.
"Yeah...I think...so."
Ryan then looks behind him and sees a kick coming at the back of his and Emily's head.
"Duck."
Ryan and Emily quickly ducks the kick. Derek throws another kick, but Ryan blocks it and punches him in the gut. As Derek stumbles back, Ryan gets to his feet and takes off his jacket. Derek and three Cobra's surround him, with Oliver looking on from the sidelines.
The young wolf closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and takes a fighting stance. Two of the Cobra's charge at him, one of them throwing a kick. Ryan quickly blocks the kick and jabs the other in the face. Derek then runs at him, but he kicks him in the chest and to the ground. Ryan ducks a kick thrown behind him and sweeps the Cobra's legs, knocking him to the ground. He then lands a spinning back elbow in the chest of the other Cobra and a roundhouse kick in the face. Derek then punches Ryan in the face and puts him in a chokehold. Ryan quickly runs up a wall nearby and flips behind Derek. He then lands a three sixty, nailing Derek in the face, knocking him out.
Ryan and Oliver then have a brief stare down between one another. Oliver then slowly pick up his fallen comrades and they leave.
"This isn't over, Larusso!" Derek yells out of frustration, kicking a trashcan as he leaves.
Ryan then walks over to Emily and Zack.
"You guys alright?" Ryan asks.
"Yeah, we're fine. Ryan, that was amazing." Emily says, play punching Ryan in the arm.
"Guess the janitor really knows his stuff." Zack adds, coughing on the ground.
"Janitor?"
"I'll explain later, come on, let's get him to my car."
Ryan and Emily helps Zack to his feet and they walk to the car.
At the Cobra Kai dojo, An angry Derek, Oliver, Ethan talk.
"What the hell happened tonight?" Ethan asks.
"Freaking Larusso! He kicked our asses at Golf N' Stuff, and this pussy didn't do crap!" Derek says, clutching his jaw.
"You went too far with Zack tonight, I didn't want any part of what was going on." Oliver replies.
Derek then gets in Oliver's face.
"If you wanna be in Cobra Kai, you are going to have to start pulling your weight, and get your balls out of your purse!"
Oliver then shoves Derek, and starts to walk away.
"Hey!" a voice yells from the background.
The sensei of Cobra Kai, Baron Cain walks out of the shadows.
"King, Long get out." Cain tells them.
"But sensei, I-" Derek tries to argue.
"Now." Cain demands. The two leave, glaring at Oliver. Baron then turns to his kind hearted student/ son.
"What happened?"
"Derek went too far tonight. He could have killed a kid tonight."
"What else?"
"The new kid, Ryan Larusso, he fought off Derek, Turner, and Malcolm."
"And you didn't do anything to help your fellow Cobra's?"
Oliver looks at his father in shock.
"That's what you took from what I just said?"
"You are apart of this dojo, you need to help your fellow students when they need you."
"Are you serious? Even when they start picking on defenseless people?"
"The weak deserve to perish, you know that. You're becoming soft, son, and I will not have weakness in this dojo."
Oliver scoffs at his father.
"Yeah, you shouldn't. I quit."
The young man grabs his bag and storms out of the dojo.
