Gabriella's nerves grew heavier with every passing second as their car slowly approached the venue. Tonight was Influencers' Night, and she sat beside Felip while their vehicle joined the long procession of luxury cars making their way toward the grand entrance.
The closer they got, the tighter the knot in her chest became.
Felip noticed her uneasiness and leaned slightly toward her.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.
"I'm alright. I'm pretty sure this dress is my size, but for some reason it feels a little tight," she replied, subtly adjusting the fabric around her waist.
The dress had never been the problem.
The problem was the possibility that Primo would be there tonight.
She wasn't ready to face him.
