Hogwarts: Professor Dracula

Zy_2
Dumbledore always believed that Voldemort was the greatest threat to the wizarding world—until a vampire who has lived for over a thousand years showed up at Hogwarts, brandishing the school’s deed. "A thousand years have passed, and the lease on Hogwarts is up!" Dracula declares. "Headmaster, surely you wouldn’t want your students left homeless, would you?" Dumbledore asks gravely, "What do you want?" "Anything interesting," the vampire replies. Finding the offer simple enough, Dracula decides that the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor sounds rather entertaining. And so, Hogwarts gains a new professor who answers to no one. “Albus, I don’t think Professor Dracula’s teaching is suitable for the poor children!” McGonagall frets. “I can’t help it—no one can fire him,” Dumbledore admits. Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy plots: “My father is on the board. I’ll make sure he gets fired!” Lucius Malfoy smacks him on the head: “Dracula, ignore him—don’t go firing the board!” This is the story of a bored, centuries-old vampire seeking amusement in the wizarding world—and finding it in the most unexpected of classrooms.
