While Seraphina was gently blowing on his eye, Vlad sat silently with a long face. She kept stealing glances at him after each tap of the hankie against his eye.
His untied raven hair gave him a distinguished appearance compared to how he usually looked. Distinguished but undeniably handsome.
He looked gentler.
"Does it really hurt?" she finally asked, feeling conflicted.
Vlad shook his head, lifting his eyes to meet hers. "I expected more than just a punch. I'm surprised that you still haven't thrown me out of your room."
She simply rolled her eyes at his words. "I'm not that cruel. To be honest, I kind of expected you to say that. But still..."
Her grip tightened around the hankie. "It makes me so furious."
"I'm sorry," Vlad lowered his face again in guilt.
"D-don't make that face again," she muttered, her frown deepening. "I want to be angry. You can't be acting cute now."
