I shut the door to the suite, my hand lingering on the doorknob. The loudness of the world was something I needed to shut out at that moment. It was chaos in my head, and I lacked the patience to sort through my thoughts. With each second that passed, rage filled my veins, turning my knuckles white and making my veins throb.
"They need to suffer, Kaeren," Vane growled within my chest. "They have poked the hornet's nest, and now, it's time for them to get stung!"
