Tang Han's situation in the warehouse goes from bad to worse almost immediately. Tazuna is clearly struggling now; even though she knows she should leave, Tang Han's lingering scent is too addictive, and the more she smells it, the less willing she is to back away. Tang Han is in a panic, frantically stuffing the last of the parts into his inventory while mentally screaming for Gold Ship to hurry up.
He keeps telling himself not to worry, because he already hired Gold Ship as protection. But Gold Ship is nowhere to be seen.
Tazuna finally admits she is reaching her limit. Tang Han urgently messages Gold Ship for help, but gets no reply. Even so, he keeps reassuring himself that his "good brother" will surely arrive at the critical moment like a hero descending from the heavens.
After another half minute, Tang Han finally finishes packing all the parts. He thinks he can leave now—but he is too late. Tazuna's restraint breaks at exactly that moment. She tells him to run, but her body betrays her intentions: she walks to the door, blocks the only exit, and locks it.
Tang Han checks his phone and at first feels relieved because Gold Ship has finally replied. But the message just says she has "something urgent" and will be late.
So Tang Han is trapped again.
Tazuna apologetically asks for "just one more time," and Tang Han can only scream in despair as she corners him once more.
An hour later, the warehouse door opens again. Tang Han staggers out carrying a sleeping Tazuna in his arms, his clothes disheveled.
The good news: he still has not actually been "jumped."
The bad news: he came terrifyingly close.
This time Tazuna was not as exhausted as before, so simple sleepiness was not enough to knock her out. During that full hour, she did far more than just smell him—she kept touching him more and more boldly, starting with his head and face, then moving on to feeling his body. Tang Han realizes that unlike last time, passively enduring it will not save him. If he does nothing, he is genuinely doomed.
Because he cannot speak while his disguise is off, he tries to put her to sleep by playing audio from his phone. Lullabies do not work. Stories do not work either, because they make her more alert. In the end, the thing that finally defeats her is… a math lecture. Listening to math makes Tazuna drowsy enough to fall asleep while hugging him.
Tang Han immediately understands the real horror: now that Tazuna has had two solid sleep sessions with him, her "sleep deprivation" issue is basically cured. Next time, sleepiness may no longer overpower her other impulses. If she gets another chance like this, he may really not escape.
Standing outside in the moonlight, Tang Han is furious at Gold Ship. He had trusted her completely, even planned to make her the UFO toy as payment, yet she abandoned him when it mattered most. He bitterly decides he will not make Gold Ship the flying saucer anymore. Instead, he will use those parts to build another toy from the book—a counter-UFO base vehicle—and give it to Mejiro McQueen instead, purely to spite Gold Ship.
After venting, Tang Han calms down and, despite everything, looks at the sleeping Tazuna and decides he cannot just leave her there. So once again, he carries her toward the infirmary.
Then comes the final reveal.
After Tang Han leaves, a gray-haired horse girl jumps down from the warehouse roof. It is Gold Ship. She is dressed like a tactical FBI officer, carrying ropes, breaching tools, flashbangs, fake FBI credentials, and—most importantly—a camera that has been recording for over an hour.
Her original plan was to crash in dramatically at the perfect moment and stage a heroic "FBI raid." Instead, she spent the whole time filming everything.
Looking toward Tang Han's retreating figure, she scratches her head and mutters that his secret is really way too dangerous.
So the whole punchline of the chapter is that Tang Han's "bodyguard" really did show up—but instead of saving him, Gold Ship stayed on the roof recording the entire disaster like it was the greatest entertainment she had ever seen.
