Chapter 52 - The Script Of Her Heart

Epilogue: Handbags, Heartbreak, and a New Chapter

Six months later.

The evening sun over Seoul bathed the city's glass facades in a warm, liquid gold. On the rooftop terrace of Spark Tower, the most exclusive release party of the year was in full swing. Posters hung everywhere with the simple but powerful title: "The Silence of the Muse – by Clara Ariadne." No more pseudonyms. No more hiding.

Clara stood by the railing, gazing out over the sea of lights of the city she had once feared so much, and which had now become her home. She wore a dress of flowing emerald-green silk—a unique piece designed by Lukas, of course.

A pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind. Min-ho buried his face briefly in the crook of her neck before gently turning her toward him. He looked happy, relaxed; the hard line around his mouth had given way to deep contentment.

"I have something to tell you, Clara," he whispered, taking her hands in his. "Something I've wanted to get off my chest for a long time."

Clara raised an inquisitive eyebrow. "Another new contract?"

He laughed softly. "No. I wanted to sincerely apologize for how foolishly I behaved in the beginning. I was so incredibly jealous of Lukas. I truly thought he was my rival. But I know now that he is like a brother to you... an irreplaceable pillar of support."

Clara smirked and looked past him toward the small bar at the other end of the terrace. "Well, actually, Min-ho... he's more like my big, exhausting sister."

Min-ho paused. He knit his brows and reflected for a moment, as if he had to first fit this piece of information into his worldview. Then his gaze slid over to Lukas and Mr. Kim.

Lukas had become Korea's most sought-after designer and model by now. He was standing over there in an extravagant suit with a peacock feather print, gesturing so fervently with his hands that he almost knocked over his champagne glass. He was delivering a fiery lecture on the "metaphysical significance of the handbag in the 21st century."

Min-ho watched as Lukas demonstrated how to carry a clutch "with pride and disdain," while Mr. Kim gave an approving thumbs-up.

A short laugh escaped Min-ho's throat. "Okay. I see what you mean. A sister. A very... loud, fashionable sister."

He pulled Clara close again. "I'm glad they are all here. But most of all, I'm glad you are here. With me."

Today, however, there was a moment that briefly outshone even the buzz surrounding Clara's book launch. Mr. Kim approached Lukas with a solemn expression. He wasn't just wearing his burgundy velvet blazer; he was also carrying a large, heavy clay pot in his arms, from which a magnificent, deep-green Monstera emerged.

Lukas stopped mid-sentence during his lecture on clutch bags. His eyes grew as wide as saucers. "Kim... what is this? A jungle accessory?"

Mr. Kim cleared his throat and adjusted his glasses while carefully placing the plant on a designer table. "Lukas, I've been thinking. We are a team now. An empire. And an empire needs a mascot. Something that grows, just like our... collaboration." He paused for a moment and looked at Lukas almost shyly. "I've named her Chantal. She needs plenty of light and the occasional encouraging word about fashion so her leaves don't droop."

Lukas let out a scream that could probably be heard all the way down at the metro station. He rushed over to the plant and patted a large leaf. "Chantal! Kim, you're a genius! She has exactly the right attitude for our office. She looks like she hates poor-quality fabrics!"

He turned to Clara and Min-ho, who were watching the spectacle with amusement. "Look at this! Chantal has moved in! We'll share custody, Kim. I'll handle the leaf styling, and you'll be in charge of strategic watering!"

Min-ho looked at Clara and shook his head, laughing. "A plant named Chantal. I suppose my office will never be as quiet as it used to be."

But the chaos on the rooftop terrace wasn't complete just yet. While Lukas was busy trying to tie a small silk bow around Chantal's stem, Mr. Kim waved a hand toward the entrance.

"Lukas, Pascale, there is someone I would like you to meet," Mr. Kim announced proudly. "My twin brother just arrived from Paris. He is moving to Seoul to join our logistics department. Meet Eric."

The crowd parted, and walking toward them was a man who looked exactly like Mr. Kim—except he wasn't wearing a velvet blazer, but a slightly relaxed, stylish designer jacket, and his hair was styled with a bit more of a modern, effortless texture. He had the same sharp jawline and glasses, but his smile was distinctly playful.

Pascale, who was standing nearby sipping a cocktail with his still-recovering hand, froze mid-sip. His eyes locked onto Eric. His jaw dropped, and his champagne glass nearly slipped from his fingers.

In a split second, Pascale's dramatic flair kicked into overdrive. He practically glided across the terrace, sidestepping the guests, and planted himself directly in front of Eric. He was completely beside himself with excitement.

"Oh, aren't you just an absolute sugar-plum of a brother?!" Pascale gasped, his voice overflowing with theatrical adoration. He leaned in, giving Eric his most dazzling, flirtatious look. "Would you perhaps like to go to the bar with me so we can get to know each other a little better? Or better yet... do you want to just marry me right now? Because I honestly think I am completely, utterly in love!"

Lukas choked on his champagne, coughing loudly, while Mr. Kim's jaw dropped in shock.

Eric, however, didn't flinch. Instead, a slow, deeply charming smile spread across his face as he looked Pascale up and down, taking in the dramatic energy of the handsome twin before him. He chuckled softly.

"Well, I certainly wouldn't say no to a drink," Eric replied smoothly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "And as for the rest... let's wait and see."

Pascale let out a dramatic, swooning sigh, clutching his chest. "A drink it is! Kim, back off, this one is mine!"

Lukas cleared his throat loudly, crossing his arms. "Don't worry, brother, I have my hands full with my Kim and Chantal. You enjoy your French-Korean romance."

A few feet away, Clara leaned back against Min-ho, who was watching the scene unfold with absolute bewilderment, laughing so hard his shoulders shook.

"Two of them," Min-ho muttered, shaking his head. "There are literally two of them now. And your friends are going to marry them both."

Yes, Clara thought, squeezing Min-ho's hand tightly as she looked at her chaotic, wonderful chosen family. This was life. A little chaos, a lot of high fashion, a magnificent plant named Chantal, and now a brand-new Mr. Kim for Pascale to chase around Seoul. It was beautiful. It was chaotic. It was absolutely perfect.
