"Jacob!!!" Persephone screamed, her voice full of total terror as she looked up from the dirt, watching Jacob being dragged up into the sky.
Priscilla on the other hand, moved quickly, she scrambled to her feet and unsheathed her steel blade.
" You better hurry on and drop him, you bastard!!!" She swung her sword violently upward, channeling her inner energy as she sent several powerful blade aura slashes flying through the air toward the rising monster.
The sharp lines of blue light sliced through the sky, but the giant bird had already flown far too high and too fast for her blade aura's reach. The slashes faded into nothingness just a few feet below the eagle's tail feathers.
"Damnit! It's too high!" Priscilla slammed her fist against her thigh, cursing her terrible luck for not reaching the target in time.
