The water around them twisted and turned violently due to his unnatural, supernatural speed, creating small whirlpools that dragged at their clothes and made the heavy fishing net float out of their hands.
Jacob looked at them both, his eyes wide with panic.
"We have to leave right now!" he gasped out, his voice shaking with pure urgency.
Priscilla looked at him through her clear air bubble, her eyebrows knitting together in irritation.
"What's gotten over you now? You look like you've seen a ghost."
"I don't know how, but I saw her fighting a monster in a forest! We have to get back to the main battleship immediately!"
Priscilla looked completely confused by his wild statement. She shook her head inside the bubble.
"Artria is miles away looking after the battleship, Jacob. You're just imagining things because of the deep water pressure."
Persephone, on the other hand, frowned deeply the very second she heard what he just said.
