Artria slowly stood up from the dirty ground, brushing the loose leaves and twigs off her clothes with an unbothered expression.
She looked over at the ten frozen crew members and joked, a small, arrogant smirk returning to her face. "See? I told you it was not a big deal. It ran away like a scared pup."
" So stop acting like a bunch of scared little girls and pick up your weapons."
The men gradually calmed down, their racing hearts slowing as they realized the danger had completely passed.
They looked at Artria with a newfound sense of awe and deep respect, amazed by how easily she had kicked a giant monster away.
They quickly gathered their dropped equipment, straightened their backs, and they marched on deeper into the woods, keeping a much tighter formation behind her.
Some time later, after they had walked a few hundred yards further into the dark heart of the jungle, another large bush shook violently just a few yards ahead of them.
