Artria nodded her head in agreement, looking over at her stubborn sister. "He actually has a very good point, sister. We're going to be stuck on this ship for a few more days. I for one think it's better to be on friendly terms with the captain."
'Oh, I bet you would absolutely love that, wouldn't you?' Persephone muttered inwardly, a wave of annoyance washing over her mind as she stared at her sister.
' You'd love nothing more than for me to go away with the captain, so you'll have Jacob all for yourself with the both of us completely gone.'

Jacob stepped closer to the bed, dropping his voice into a soft, pleading tone. He looked straight into Persephone's eyes, using his best puppy-like expression to break down her stubborn walls. "Please, Persephone? Just do this for me? I promise it won't be as bad as you think."
