Joy and laughter filled Raven's home the day they returned with their newborn son.
Raven simply couldn't stop looking at either Missy or the baby, as though nothing else in the world deserved his attention more than his wife and child.
Whether Jason was sleeping beside Missy, nursing in her arms, or making the tiniest little movements in his sleep, Raven watched him with endless fascination.
It was almost unbelievable that someone so impossibly small... was his son.
Jason stirred in his sleep, his tiny fingers curling into a loose fist before relaxing again.
Raven instinctively leaned closer.
Every now and then, Raven would instinctively reach out, gently brushing a finger over Jason's tiny hand or softly tucking the blanket around him, almost as if he needed constant reassurance that the little boy was truly there.
Each time Jason responded with the slightest twitch or sleepy sigh, Raven found himself smiling all over again.
"...Did you see that?"
