Only a moment later, when Missy opened her eyes, she found herself standing amidst the ruins of an ancient structure covered in moss and decay.
Broken stone walls surrounded her on every side, remnants of a forgotten past swallowed by time itself.
In front of her stood an old wooden door.
Just a door.
Ordinary.
Weathered.
Unremarkable.
Yet somehow, its presence felt heavier than anything she had ever seen.
"Are you sure about this?" Lucifer asked again.
Missy stared at the door with unwavering determination.
The night wind tugged at her nightgown and robe, causing the fabric to flutter around her legs. Strangely enough, despite the cold darkness surrounding the ruins, she didn't feel cold at all.
Her heart was beating too fast for her to notice anything else.
"Is Raven in there?" she asked quietly.
"Yes," Lucifer replied.
Missy swallowed.
Was this really Raven's Hell?
It looked nothing like the stories she had heard.
There were no rivers of fire.
No demons.
