Chapter 850 - Chapter 814 : Retake the initiative part 8

**Chapter 814: Heart of the Blue Giant**

**Scene 1: Ku'Bakai System – Nova Titan Mode**

**Year 3, Month 2, Week 1**

Dagon Marek hovered in the void, his Wrath Shield armor locked in its colossal Nova Titan fusion mode. The 1,300-meter giant form radiated dark side power, a living weapon forged from rage, necessity, and sheer audacity. Around him, the fleet had gathered what was immediately available. The ancient Star Fortress—three kilometers wide and one kilometer long—hung a few hundred kilometers from the massive blue giant star dominating the Ku'Bakai system. The *Annihilator* maintained a safe distance of several thousand kilometers, its massive frame ready to receive the harvest. Over a hundred Class 4 container ships with empty holds waited in formation, prepared to jump to various Republic shipyards the moment they were loaded.

'Oh, this is a bad idea,' Dagon thought, staring into the roiling plasma hell of the blue supergiant. 'Why do I keep doing these things?'

The Demon Dragon Emperor's voice rumbled through his mind, laced with dark amusement. *One part brave, three parts fool. The exact type of hero the Shield chooses.*

Dagon allowed a grim smile beneath the faceplate. The Scepter of Ragnos was secured in a reinforced gauntlet mount, its dark side reservoir already humming in anticipation. The plan was simple in theory, suicidal in practice: use the combined power of the Scepter and Wrath Shield to siphon and concentrate stellar energy, feeding it through the Star Fortress's ancient focusing arrays directly into the *Annihilator*'s internal foundries and matter-creation matrix. There, it would be transmuted into pure kyber crystals on a scale never before attempted.

The fleet waited in tense silence. This was the key to the next phase of the war—unlimited kyber for superweapons, advanced reactors, and the fleet that would finally break the CIS.

**Scene 2: Into the Inferno**

"Beginning descent," Dagon announced over the secure channel. "All ships maintain distance. Lyra, prepare the matrix."

"Understood," Lyra Blissex replied from the *Annihilator*. "Readings stable. May the Force be with you."

Dagon ignited the Nova Titan's thrusters and plunged toward the star.

The outermost layer hit first—the **Corona**. Superheated plasma washed over the armor like an ocean of fire, but the Titan's shields held at near full strength. The dark side energy field blunted the worst of the radiation.

Deeper now. The **Chromosphere**—a thin, reddish layer of agitated gas. No major issues. Using the Force to perceive his surroundings was surreal; it appeared as an explosion of impossible colors, raw energy dancing in every spectrum.

The **Photosphere**—the visible "surface." Temperatures soared into the tens of thousands of Kelvin. Blue and ultraviolet light dominated, battering the armor like a physical force. Shields dropped to 80%. Dagon channeled more dark side power, reinforcing the matrix.

"Shields holding," he reported. "Proceeding."

The **Convective Zone**. Boiling currents of hot plasma slammed against him. Shields fell to 75%. He activated a secondary adaptation—drawing on the Mangekyou Sharingan pattern integrated into the armor's systems. Frost armor crystallized across the outer plating, a paradoxical barrier of absolute zero against stellar heat. It bought precious seconds.

The **Radiative Zone**. Energy transported outward as photons battered him relentlessly. Shields at 50%. Dagon poured more power into the Scepter, using it as a focusing lens to begin drawing stellar essence.

Finally, the **Core**. High-pressure, ultra-dense fury where hydrogen fused into heavier elements at unimaginable speeds. This was the heart of a blue supergiant—raw creation and destruction in one. Time seemed to slow. Dagon activated the full extraction protocol.

The Scepter blazed. A concentrated beam of harvested stellar energy lanced outward, stabilized and amplified by the Wrath Shield. It struck the Star Fortress, which glowed like a second sun before redirecting the torrent in a controlled stream toward the *Annihilator*.

Dagon held position, a tiny god standing inside the furnace of creation.

**Scene 3: Annihilator Bridge – Harvest**

Lyra Blissex stood on the *Annihilator*'s command bridge, eyes wide as the massive energy beam arrived. The Star Fortress acted as a perfect relay, channeling the raw power of the blue giant into the super-dreadnought's matter creation systems.

"Sir, all readings optimal," a clone officer reported. "Kyber creation in progress."

Huge kyber crystals began materializing in the specialized containment chambers—first fifty meters across, then pushing toward one hundred meters. Pure, flawless crystals of immense size and potency, far beyond anything previously harvested from Ilum or Christophsis.

"Begin immediate transfer," Lyra commanded. "We don't know how long the Supreme Commander can remain inside. Our holds are limited—prioritize containment."

Transports swarmed the *Annihilator*'s massive bays. In twenty minutes, over fifty heavy transports were loaded with kyber crystals, each one a fortune capable of powering superlasers or advanced reactors. Meanwhile, the molecular furnaces worked overtime, using spare stellar energy to synthesize Quadanium steel, Impervium, and Doonium alloys—critical materials for turbolaser barrels, armor plating, and capital ship construction. Additional transports filled rapidly with these alloys.

Dagon's voice came through the comms, strained but steady. "All ships, jump to your respective positions. Lyra, estimate on the new fleet?"

"At least two weeks minimum," Lyra replied, monitoring the readouts. "Possibly more or less depending on final crystal purity and alloy batches. We're already routing the first loads to Corellia, Kuat, and Sienar facilities."

"Be careful. Don't rush," Dagon said. There was a pause. "I'm pulling out."

The beam cut off. Moments later, the massive Titan Nova form emerged from the star's corona, shedding layers of superheated plasma like molten armor. Dagon reverted the mode as his shuttle docked, the Wrath Shield cycling through cooldown protocols.

On the bridge, Lyra allowed herself a rare smile. "He did it. Again."

The fleet began jumping out in coordinated groups, carrying the seeds of a new navy that would dwarf anything the CIS could field. The Dragon had once more reached into the heart of a star and returned with the power to reshape the galaxy.
