Chapter 611 - Chapter 587 healing the world

**Chapter 587**

**Jungle World Hidden Healer – Part 4**

**Scene 1**

**Dagon POV**

**Heart of the Wound – Felucia Depths**

The tunnel finally opened into a vast, cathedral-like chamber deep beneath Felucia's surface. Massive fungal pillars rose like ancient columns, their caps glowing with soft, ethereal light. In the center stood an enormous, ancient tree stump — its wood blackened and corrupted, dark veins pulsing through it like infected arteries. The air was thick with the stench of decay and the raw, turbulent hum of the Force.

And there she was.

A creature in humanoid form — a little girl who appeared around 12 or 13 years old. Her skin was bare, smooth, and glowing with a soft green luminescence that matched the jungle above. Long green hair cascaded down her back, flowing all the way to her feet like living vines. Her eyes were large, innocent, and filled with an ancient sorrow that belied her youthful appearance. She was a Dryad — the living spirit of Felucia itself.

She looked up at me with wide, hopeful eyes as I stepped closer, the Wrath Shield glowing on my arm.

"Huh," I said, lowering my blue lightsaber slightly. "I read about beings like you in old fantasy books from my homeworld. Never thought in a galaxy far, far away, you guys actually exist."

The Dryad tilted her head, her long green hair shifting like leaves in a breeze. Her voice echoed softly in my mind — gentle, melodic, and laced with quiet desperation.

"I am the guardian of this world," she said. "But I am failing. I will soon pass on. Heal this world so I can know my duty finally ends in peace."

"Screw that," I replied immediately.

The Dryad's eyes widened in shock. "What…?"

"I ain't letting you die," I said firmly, stepping closer to the corrupted stump. "Not only was I supposed to get peace, but I got flung into another war and will probably never know it. That means if I'm stuck, you're stuck too."

I raised the Wrath Shield, channeling every ounce of power I had — light and dark, balanced through the Force and the dragon's strength. Golden light mixed with controlled crimson flames flowed from the shield into the ancient stump. The Dryad gasped, her small body trembling as the surge of energy washed over her.

"Wait… ahh… you will die!" she cried out in panic, her voice breaking into a soft, involuntary moan as the power flooded through her connection to the planet. "You can't… it's too much…"

The stump shuddered violently. Dark veins cracked and burned away as purifying energy flooded the wound. The Dryad's bare skin glowed brighter, her long green hair floating as if caught in an invisible wind. She clutched at the stump, tears streaming down her cheeks as the planet's pain began to ease.

"I… I feel it," she whispered, voice trembling with awe and relief. "The poison… it's receding. But you… you're pouring too much of yourself into it…"

I gritted my teeth, sweat dripping down my face beneath the helmet. "Then I'll pour more. This world doesn't die today. Not while I'm here."

The chamber shook as the heart of the wound fought back — dark tendrils lashing out like corrupted roots. I held firm, the Wrath Shield blazing as I forced the corruption out. The Dryad cried out again, a mix of pain and ecstasy as the planet's life force began to heal.

**Scene 2**

**Grey Wolf Bridge – Felucia Orbit**

**Stella POV**

Stella stood at the central holotable on the *Grey Wolf*, the other girls gathered around her as they reviewed the latest battle plans. The orbital situation was stabilizing, but the ground campaign on Felucia was entering its most critical phase.

"So just the two cities remain basically," Stella said, gesturing to the map. "Dagon plans involve the final rush with a combined tank and air landing force while Arquitens-class light cruisers and *Olympus Mons* fighters provide coverage."

"Yes," Flare added. "Dagon said he first had to investigate a possible meeting with the local militia. If we can get them on our side, the two cities should fall easily."

"I don't trust it," Kayla said, arms crossed. "Those little guys keep trying to ambush and kill us since we landed. Even if we show them the poison, would they even believe us?"

"It's the best plan we have," Shin replied. "Dagon's instincts have been right so far. We—"

She was interrupted as sensors on the *Grey Wolf* suddenly flared. The entire planet of Felucia lit up in a kaleidoscope of colors — vibrant greens, blues, and golds pulsing across its surface like a living aurora.

"What in the Force…?" Ahsoka whispered, eyes wide.

The bridge crew stared in stunned silence as the planet seemed to come alive, the bioluminescent jungle glowing brighter than they had ever seen.

**Scene 3**

**Heart Tree Chamber – Felucia Depths**

**Dagon POV**

I collapsed at the base of the heart tree, my body exhausted but unbroken. The Wrath Shield dimmed as the last of the corruption burned away. The ancient stump now glowed with healthy green light, the dark veins gone. The planet's wound was healing.

The Dryad — the little girl with long green hair touching her feet — rushed to my side. She gently lifted my head and rested it on her bare lap, her small hands stroking my helmeted cheek with surprising tenderness. Her beady eyes were filled with confusion and deep, ancient affection.

"You… you did it," she whispered, voice soft and trembling. "You saved us. You saved me. I thought I would fade… but you refused to let me go."

I managed a tired smile beneath the helmet. "Told you. If I'm stuck fighting forever… you're stuck with me too."

The Dryad's cheeks flushed with a faint green glow. She continued stroking my armor, her long hair draping over us like a living blanket. For the first time in millennia, the guardian of Felucia felt something close to peace.
