**Chapter 588**
**Jungle World Hidden Healer – Part 3**
**Dagon POV**
**Deeper Caves – Felucia Depths**
The tunnel continued downward, the air growing thicker, damper, and heavier with raw Force energy. The bioluminescent fungi on the walls dimmed as I descended, replaced by a faint, sickly green glow emanating from the rock itself. The hidden female voice remained a constant, gentle presence in my mind, guiding me when the path split.
*Left,* she whispered. *The wound deepens here. Be wary. The planet's pain has birthed guardians of its own.*
I kept my blue lightsaber ignited, the clean azure blade casting steady light. The Wrath Shield pulsed on my left arm, its dragon emblem flickering as if sensing the growing corruption ahead. The Demon Dragon Emperor was quiet, watchful — almost respectful of this place.
After what felt like another hour of careful descent, the tunnel opened into a vast underground chamber. A massive subterranean pool dominated the space, its surface dark and glassy, reflecting the faint green glow from above. The water looked unnaturally still, almost oily, with faint ripples moving against the natural current. Tendrils of dark side energy curled beneath the surface like living smoke.
*The heart of the wound begins here,* the female voice said, a note of sorrow in it. *The poison has seeped deep. The eels… they were once protectors. Now they serve the corruption. Enter the water. The Shield will protect you.*
I approached the edge of the pool. The water lapped gently at my boots, cold and unnaturally heavy. I focused on the Wrath Shield, willing it into a new configuration.
"Wrath Shield — Hydro Mode," I commanded.
The armor responded instantly. Plates shifted with a mechanical hiss, the dragon emblem glowing bright red-black. The shield expanded slightly, forming hydrodynamic edges and fins along my limbs. The four dark side blasters repositioned along my back and shoulders, now optimized for underwater propulsion and combat. A thin layer of Force energy enveloped the suit, creating a pressurized bubble that would allow me to breathe and move freely.
I stepped into the pool. The water closed over my head without resistance. The Hydro Mode activated fully — the blasters providing gentle thrust as I swam deeper. The pool was far larger than it appeared from the surface, descending into a vast underwater cavern system.
That was when the first eel attacked.
It burst from the shadows — a massive, mutated creature, easily ten meters long, its body a grotesque fusion of dark side corruption and Felucia's native life. Its skin was translucent black with glowing red veins, multiple rows of serrated teeth lining a jaw that could swallow a man whole. It moved with unnatural speed, lightning crackling along its body.
I twisted in the water, the Hydro Mode thrusters firing to dodge its lunge. The eel's teeth scraped against my shield with a grinding screech. I countered with a burst from the dark side blasters, the red-black energy bolts cutting through the water and searing into its side. The creature screamed — a high-pitched, psychic wail that echoed through the Force — and retreated into the shadows, trailing dark blood.
More came. Dozens of them. They swarmed from all directions, their bodies undulating with corrupted grace. I spun, the shield acting as both defense and weapon, bashing one eel aside while the blasters fired in controlled bursts. The water churned with blood and energy as I carved through them, my lightsaber flashing in graceful arcs when they closed too near.
Then the nymphs appeared.
They rose from the depths like living temptations — beautiful, ethereal female figures formed from the planet's own life force, their bodies translucent and glowing with bioluminescent patterns. They moved with liquid grace, their forms shifting between solid and ethereal. Long, flowing hair made of glowing tendrils trailed behind them as they circled me. Their eyes were hypnotic, filled with ancient hunger.
One of them pressed against me, her hands sliding over my armored chest, her lips brushing my helmet. Another joined her, their bodies intertwining in a sensual dance, lips meeting in a deep, passionate kiss right in front of me. Their forms pressed together, hands exploring each other with shameless desire — fingers tracing breasts, sliding between thighs, soft moans echoing through the water as they put on a display meant to distract and seduce.
A third nymph floated closer, her translucent hand reaching for my waist, her voice a sultry whisper in my mind. *Stay with us… forget the surface… forget the war… we can make you feel things no mortal woman can…*
I felt the pull — the dark side trying to use beauty and lust as weapons. But it had no effect.
I already had my harem. Ten incredible women who loved me, fought beside me, and satisfied every need I could have. Their faces flashed through my mind — Ahsoka's bright smile, Shin's quiet strength, Zule's fiery passion, Erictia's intense affection, Sakura's deep emotional connection, and the others. The bond between us was stronger than any temptation this corrupted pool could offer.
"Sorry, ladies," I said mentally, pushing forward. "I'm taken. Very taken."
The nymphs hissed in frustration as I swam past them, the Wrath Shield flaring to disperse their seductive illusions. One tried to wrap around me, but I unleashed a burst of purifying Force energy, causing her form to dissolve into glowing particles. The others retreated into the depths, their distractions failing.
*You resisted,* the hidden female voice said, sounding pleased. *Few can. The heart is near. Continue.*
I pushed deeper, the water growing darker, thicker. The mutated eels attacked again, but their numbers were thinning. I cut through them with lightsaber and shield, the Hydro Mode thrusters giving me unmatched mobility.
Finally, the tunnel opened into an even larger chamber. In the center floated a massive, pulsating orb of corrupted energy — the true heart of Felucia's wound. Dark tendrils spread from it into the water, feeding the poison throughout the planet's aquatic system.
*The source,* the voice whispered. *Cleanse it… and the world may yet live.*
I raised the Wrath Shield, preparing to channel everything I had.
