BAM!
The strange and peculiar magic shattered the beams of light that were trying to stop its advance and struck James's body head-on.
It was a powerful and decisive spell that struck James's form with force as he tried to escape from something he couldn't see or perceive—only feel.
James was struck head-on by an impressive spell that shattered all the spells he was trying to cast, before he could even cast them. At the same time, the pressure around him vanished, and he was hurled out of the arena, crashing into the walls near the stands.
Lucius landed gracefully on the ground, though he felt empty inside.
"Using so many spells has really drained my mana reserves—and I consider them to be very high."
He was having trouble breathing because of it.
Although that might be because he had to push himself harder than he'd imagined.
"Someone with 15 mana marks—even if they aren't ideal—is truly dangerous."
