The second day of the round of 32 began with a crushing defeat for Martha Levine.
At this stage of the tournament, there are no weak opponents left, and those who were simply lucky in earlier rounds are bound to suffer a quick defeat.
Martha was among those who got very lucky, but she reached her limit here.
Her match lasted only a few minutes before she was eliminated.
However, for a Support player like her to make it into the Top 32 of this Qualifying Tournament was a surprise and is a great achievement for her.
She has a high chance of being selected to attend the Main Academy this year, and even if she doesn't go, she'll still be awarded amazing prizes and honors, as well as better opportunities.
On top of that, her ranking had improved. She'd gone from 2,300 to 1,900. For a support player like her, that was amazing.
"You did well," Clara consoled her, before heading up to her own match.
Clara was nervous, and it showed in the way she walked.
