Officially, Lucius made it into the top 1,000 of the New Asturias Local Ranking. It was a considerably high ranking, but one where he was just beginning to make a name for himself among the Rankers.
At the Academy, in the New Asturias hub, there were still about 150 people ahead of him, all Rank C.
And among them, the one standing at the very top, on a real podium: Darius Asturias, his younger brother.
"The leadership have been talking a lot about you these days," Jake said.
In the Workshop, Jake, Joao, Clara, and Lucius were gathered, chatting.
"All the students are too. Plus, The Wall is a mess right now," Joao laughed. "An E-Rank who's managed to break into the C-Rank rankings… that's a first."
"And you haven't fallen behind either, little Clara. Top 2,300! If you hold on to that spot, you'll make it into the Qualifiers!" Jake exclaimed excitedly.
Lucius didn't care that he'd made it into the Top 1,000. The fun had just begun.
Clara, however, was a little nervous.
