Aquasteine pov
I revved my bike hard, pressing the accelerator like a madman. A painful twinge exploded through my leg, but I ignored it. My heart raced faster than the engine, pulse pounding in my ears as I steered the dirt bike around rocks and boulders. Where the hell could she be? I shouldn't have left the house this morning. I should've listened to Jericho and stayed in bed like a smart mate. The pain from my injuries still wracked my body with every bump, but I twisted the throttle higher, racing at dangerous speeds.
If another vehicle appeared around the bend, I wouldn't hit the brakes in time. It was an unwise choice, especially with my body already broken from yesterday's crash, but I didn't care. Ravine was missing. Nothing else mattered.
