Natasha lets out a dramatic sob, dabbing at her eyes. "He's lying, Master Harlan. He pulled me onto him. Said if I didn't... please him, he'd make sure I lost my job. I was scared. That's why I waited until now to report it."
Lila shifts uncomfortably but nods when Harlan glances at her. "I've seen it too," she says softly, her voice trembling just enough to sound believable.
"Aquasteine... he's always been friendly with me. Touching my arm during shifts, smiling in that way. Yesterday after his accident, he told me he needed 'comfort' when he came back to work. I saw Natasha go into his office today. When she came out, she looked terrified."
I stare at Lila, betrayal hitting harder than the bike crash yesterday. "Comfort? You came onto me during lunch breaks, Lila. Brushing against me, offering private 'tours' of the storage rooms. I turned you down every time, just like Natasha."
