ELARA'S POV.
My ears picked up a faint buzzing sound like electricity on thick power lines vibrating through wires and metal. I adjusted on my seat a few times as the silence hung in the air like a forbidden word.
No words after the lady greeted me. Instead they stared at me like a drunken fugitive, eyes stiff and shoulders squared up like they were ready to pounce on me.
My eyes circled on the gold watch sitting on the wrist of the man seated beside the right side of the lady. He tapped on it and blinked slowly, forcing a few words right out of my mouth.
"Good morning, I came for the interview. I came earlier than I was scheduled, I hope there isn't any problem?" My heart thumped violently.
"Of course not." The woman made a wide smile. She began to tap on my file until she chuckled inwardly and inhaled deeply.
"My name's Sylvia Chen, I'm the managing director of Shellop company.. I'm guessing you already did your research,"
