"Hold on, we'll get Mr Hanson on the line in a few minutes," the soft voice echoed through the phone.
"Hold on? No, I can't. You've been telling me to hold on for the sixth time today. I'm not a fool, get Mr Hanson on the phone, I need to talk to him." I paced around my office, my palms all sweaty from clutching my phone all morning.
I had no chance to cover up the news when I heard it earlier. I did all I could but unfortunately, the government connections we had forced us to wait for hours.
The news had already spread like wildfire by the next morning and I was barely scraping by.
"Ma'am, you have to understand that Mr Hanson is pretty busy. He can't leave what he is doing to speak with you,"
"Excuse me!" I snapped. "Do you know who I am?" I yelled.
