"Retreat? Heh, Pryce siblings, watch me." Julian Rook suddenly shot into the air. A surging, dense green Life Energy erupted from his body and rushed toward the giant wolf.
"You two just watch how I subdue this beast!"
The Life System's energy, normally so wondrous, suddenly became as savage and murderous as something from the netherworld upon touching the giant wolf. It completely enveloped the wolf, the green energy on the outside clashing with the black energy on the inside, neither gaining the upper hand.
Julian Rook looked completely relaxed. The giant wolf, in contrast, had gone from confronting him in mid-air to slowly descending to the ground.
It seemed to be at a disadvantage.
Time trickled by. Although the giant wolf's black energy was slowly contracting, it showed no signs of giving up or compromising. As time wore on, Julian Rook, having expended a great deal of his superpower, gradually lost his relaxed demeanor.
