Faye Yardley said she'd get right on it and stood up. Willow Yardley stood in the kitchen, looking at them. "Sister, Lucy, why don't you eat something first before doing anything else?"
"It'll be quick." Faye Yardley bounded up the stairs, went to her workbench, entered the two production blueprints, and then started making Storage Rings.
It was indeed quick. In less than five minutes, she had five more Storage Rings in her hand. They were low-level, to be sure, and the storage space inside wasn't even a fixed value.
She made five of them, with internal spaces ranging from one to three cubic meters.
She gave the one with the most space to Lucy White, the smallest to Rainie, who was with her brother, a random one to Willow Yardley, and set one aside to give to Franklin Yardley the next time she went back to the island.
Faye Yardley put a 2.6m³ one on her own hand.
It wasn't the biggest, but it wasn't small either.
The largest possible space was 3m³, anyway.
