Zachary Fairchild spent two days at the military base. On the first day, he handled official business with William Wynne, and on the second, he took Olivia Wynne out to explore the surrounding area.
The area they went to wasn't particularly nice, but since it was close to the countryside, Zachary took Olivia for a visit.
In the Northwest Region, many places remained undeveloped for geographical reasons, preserving their natural scenery. The village they visited happened to be the one Olivia had passed on her first day here.
When she arrived with Zachary this time, the village wasn't as quiet as before. Dogs were barking, and children were out playing.
Seeing the starkly different atmosphere, Olivia commented offhandedly, "I passed through here on my first day. It was so quiet back then. For such a big village, it felt like it was completely deserted."
