Seeing the burly men behind him closing in, Luke Chase could only shout, "Run!"
He hoped Olivia Wynne would pick up the pace.
Olivia Wynne heard Luke Chase and, by the light of the moon, saw the men chasing him.
Though she didn't know who they were, she could tell at a glance they were after Luke Chase. And from the looks of it, this was definitely trouble.
They were colleagues, and Olivia Wynne had nothing against Luke Chase, so she wasn't about to stand by and let him get hurt.
She moved quickly toward Luke Chase, reaching his side in about ten seconds.
"What's going on?" Olivia Wynne asked in a low voice.
"Those guys are bad news. Run! If we don't, we might not make it out alive." Luke Chase was breathing unevenly, his panic obvious.
Although he was a man, his life consisted of singing and appearing on shows. He'd never done any real physical labor, much less been in a fight.
