This was the first time Silas Thornton had said those words to her face.
Not as an inner thought, not relayed through someone else, and certainly not as some vague, ambiguous expression.
It was straightforward, direct, with nothing held back.
Only after meeting her dark, round eyes did Silas Thornton realize what he had just said. His expression grew so stiff it was painful to look at.
'Aaaah! Oh my god! Stupid mouth! What did you just say? Somebody help me! Help me!'
'Something so important, how could I just blurt it out so casually?!! I'm going to kill this mouth of mine!!'
Holly Wyatt's eyes trembled slightly. She glanced at the wolf ears on his head, which had shot straight up in agitation, and boldly reached out to gently brush his ear tip.
The wolf ear twitched rapidly, instantly flushing red.
"Okay," Holly Wyatt replied softly. She pulled her hand back, holding a piece of debris from the wall. "You had something on your head. I got it for you."
