Her red lips pursed slightly, a sharp glint flashing through her clear eyes.
Before she could say anything, Jean Reginald's voice called out, "Jasper is back."
At his words, everyone turned in unison to look outside, only to find Jasper Ashworth had returned alone.
"Seraphina, did you find Mom?" Jasper Ashworth asked, looking straight at Seraphina Ashworth the moment he ran into the living room.
"We found her. Mom's resting now, and Dad is upstairs with her."
"Jasper, where are Maurice and Victor?" Miss Ashworth asked, a hint of worry appearing in her eyes as she saw that Jasper Ashworth had returned by himself.
"It's a long story. Let me explain," Jasper Ashworth said, catching his breath. "My brothers are fine."
"What happened?" Mr. Ashworth relaxed upon hearing that Maurice and Victor were unharmed.
"My brothers and I chased that woman, but halfway there, her car collided with Clayton Winters and his son."
