"No!" Sidney Winters shot to his feet and loudly objected.
"Sidney, what do you mean by that?" Linda Quinn interjected, unable to restrain herself before Mr. Winters had even spoken. "Your mother caused all this trouble. Don't tell me the Winters family has to clean up her mess now?"
Sidney Winters ignored Linda Quinn, looking up at Mr. Winters. "Grandfather, what my mom did was wrong, but I'm begging you… please, let my parents be buried together. I'm begging you."
'Even though it was all his mother's fault, she was dead now. He didn't want to argue about it anymore.'
"This is not up for discussion!" Mr. Winters declared, his decision final.
'A woman like that brought nothing but disaster to the Winters family. She was never worthy of being a Winters daughter-in-law.'
