The filming of *Idol Brother and Sister* had been rocky from the very beginning. Serena Sherwood and Mia Miller had been involved in successive accidents, and now Shaun Adler was injured as well. The three had also become entangled in a messy love triangle. They were practically bogged down by scandals, making a short-term comeback highly unlikely.
Furthermore, Shaun Adler would be bedridden in the hospital for at least three months, bringing both the variety show's filming and his television shoots to a grinding halt.
