After work, Evelyn Grant returned from the law firm to Ryan Sterling's apartment.
The moment she unlocked the door and stepped inside, she saw him sitting on the sofa with a smile on his face—a rare sight, as he was usually working in his study.
Upon seeing Evelyn, Ryan Sterling stood up, walked over, and naturally wrapped his arms around her.
He encircled her, but didn't pull her into a tight hug.

"What is it?"
