"Is Eve working so much these days?" Chloe Shea suddenly grew worried. "I need to have a talk with her. That child… she's definitely just focused on making more money and completely ignoring her own health!"
Julian Sterling seized the opportunity to console her. "Mom, I'll talk to her again when I get back. You know how she is—very responsible. Her cases are keeping her swamped, so there's not much to be done. Once she's past this busy spell, I promise I'll have a proper talk with her."
Chloe Shea nodded.
Then, she realized something was different. A pleasant surprise lit up her eyes as she asked, "You two… have you made up?"
