Chloe Shea's comment was, of course, an innocent one.
It was just an elder showing her concern!
But to Julian and Evelyn, it sounded completely different.
They both instinctively lowered their heads, avoiding the topic.
"Mom, we should get back inside. The dumplings will get cold."
"Yes, yes!"

During dinner, the topic naturally turned to their marriage.
Chloe Shea had a lot to say.
For example, "What couple doesn't bicker and argue? That's just how life is!"
Or, "If you two have issues, talk them out. Don't just sulk and give each other the silent treatment, and don't be so quick to talk about divorce!"
Evelyn just listened, not saying anything in response.
Only Julian would chime in every now and then, taking all the blame upon himself.
When the meal was over, Evelyn got up to clear the table.
It was almost Chloe Shea's bedtime. 'If I can just endure this a little longer, I can leave,' Evelyn thought. So, she decided to remain silent.
