It was late when Leo Morgan returned to the hotel. Just as he got back to his room, Shane Schultz knocked and entered.
"Has Miss Thorne returned?" Leo Morgan asked.
Shane Schultz replied, "She came back, but then she went out again."
Hearing this, Leo Morgan glanced to the side. "Went out? By herself, or did someone pick her up?"
"She left in a taxi from the hotel entrance," Shane Schultz answered. "I was going to follow her, but she was too fast. I just couldn't keep up..."
Leo Morgan just chuckled, waving his hand dismissively. "If she doesn't want you to follow her, there's no way you can. Just let her be."
"Yes."

In reality, Summer Thorne hadn't gone far from the hotel.
It was a holiday, and the hotel was located downtown. The taxi had barely driven any distance before it hit a police traffic control, getting stuck in the gridlock for a full half-hour.
