How casually she always snuggled and hugged him.
Only he knew how much he dreamt of a family. Only he knew how much he wished for someone to show even the slightest physical affection.
Only he knew how starved he was for touch. His whole training under the HPSC, it increased his perception to extreme. Every small vibration was rattling. Every little sound caught his attention.
Sleep felt impossible without medication. Then she came.
God. Only he knew how he felt in her hugs. Holding her in his arms felt like every nerve was being soothed.
He was the one holding her but he always felt like he was the one being held.
She was the only one who ever loved him for what he was. His fans loved him. The commission loved him. The media loved him.
But it was never the same. They loved Hawks. She loved Chikky.
Now that he thought about it, she never called him Hawks even once in her life.
She called him a cannibal more than that. But, he knew she was the only one who could ever love love him like this.
Asking nothing in return except hugs. A constant presence hovering around him. Peeking from corners and scheming a prank. Or pranks.
Easy to irritate and easier to impress. How could he lose her? How could he just let go of the only person in his life?
How could he let go of the constant presence that made him human? How could she just say she wanted to be All for One's next vessel and expect him to just take it?
It was not fair.
" Ow!!!! Chikki listen!!! Hear me out ok!? I will talk!!! I love you!!! Pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!!! Stop pulling my ear!!!! " She rubbed her ear where he caught her. That actually hurt. Bro was awfully mad.
" So now you are talking. " Keigo looked at her completely unimpressed. Did she really place her makeup pallet above him? That was mildly insulting.
Akira guiltily sat infront of him again, but this time, they shifted to couch seeing no purpose at the dining table anymore.
" So basically... " Akira blinked her eyes at him with a smile hoping to get any reaction other than that serious emo face he never made.
His face did not change as he leaned back on the armrest looking at her, folding his arms as she sat infront of him .
She got comfortable as she folded her legs and fully turned to him ready to explain all of her plans.
" Hear me out ok!
So! My existence in this world should cause massive butterflies and do crazy crazy things and everything should change right?" Akira started excitedly acting everything with her hands.
Keigo just nodded as he replied. " But the USJ did happen with some mild changes and happened at the exact same timeline. "
He deduced that part almost immediately. That was the problem. Reasonably speaking, everything should have changed considering she even warned the teachers and principals about Shigaraki the previous day.
Nezu was a smart rat. If a presence of Villain near his school was informed to him, he would have gotten under it within hours. Not getting all the identity and all is not that surprising considering Shigaraki's status.
But he still sent the students out of the school knowing the existence of this threat. That was not like him. No matter how many times he thought about that, the only conclusion he was able to get to was something inhuman was pulling 1A towards that event. Was it fate or a plot, he did not know.
But he was sure he would not like any answer.
Akira immediately continued after him. This was exactly what she loved the most about him. She never had to explain in detail. He always understood everything she said without detailed explanation.
Her excitement got the best of her as she made a circular blood disk under her and made it fly while carrying her.
" Exactly!! So! No matter what we do, some events are at some level inevitable!!! "
" But Shigaraki is dead. And that changes everything " Keigo added to her thought.
Akira furiously nodded as she got closer and hovered in front of his face.
" So!!! Somebody has got to take his place!! And originally, Shiggy was a biiiiiig dumbass! And that led to the league getting exposed which happened now too. But then again, now that he was dead, All for One would definitely look for another person to fill his role!"
