SAMANTHA
"You are a pervert! Crazy! Where in the world are you taking me?" I glared at Jayce and, in dread, gripped the handle above my seat. My knuckles were white from the force of my grip, and I could feel the panic rising in my chest like a tidal wave.
Jayce looked at me through the rearview mirror with contempt. His eyes were cold, mocking, as if I were nothing more than an amusing insect. "Are you lacking any other vocabulary? Is that all the cursing you can do?"
"You!" I was infuriated by his lack of shame and found it difficult to breathe. My chest heaved with each ragged breath, and I could feel the tears of frustration threatening to spill over. How dare he treat me like this? How dare he act as if I were nothing?
The automobile soon pulled up to Jayce's property. I used the opportunity to escape and was on my way out of the car when he got out. My feet hit the ground, and I sprinted forward, desperate to put as much distance between us as possible.
