Sweet Encounter (1.4 end)
Some more months passed, and scynthia and I grew even closer.
We had a lot of fun together—watched countless movies and made more memories.
One day, she said,
"Hmm… you know, I really want you and me to go to the same college. It's one of the wishes of my life."
I replied,
"Of course. And if that happens, you'll definitely make a lot of boyfriends."
She laughed and said,
"Oh really? Then will you make a lot of girlfriends?"
I shrugged,
"I can't. No one would accept me as a boyfriend anyway."
She frowned slightly,
"Don't underestimate yourself… I don't like it when you do that."
Suddenly, my phone rang.
It was a call from home.
When I picked up, the voice on the other end said,
"Sorry to say… but your mom passed away."
I froze in shock.
She noticed and quickly asked,
"What happened?"
I barely managed to speak,
"They… they said my mom is no more."
Tears welled up in my eyes.
And then—I collapsed, unconscious.
The next day, I woke up, not knowing anything, but my head felt like it was exploding in pain.
I searched for Scynthia but couldn't find her.
I said to myself,
"Maybe she also left me I started reading the newspaper. There, it was written about the death of two girls in an accident. One was unknown. But the other… was Scynthia .
My dream broke, and I wake up to a clear morning. In my mind, Scynthia's imagination start to come back. I begin looking through her things as if they are mine mine precious memories.
And in the gift that I once gave her… I find a letter.
