Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Ink that Defies Heaven

The sky over the Great Martial Continent was never silent. Dragons soared, and sword cultivators carved through the clouds with a single swing. Here, power wasn't just a dream; it was a law.

But for Ray, it was a nightmare.

"Zero spiritual roots. No talent for magic. You are nothing but a waste, Ray," the elder's voice echoed in his memory.

In this world, if you couldn't cultivate, you were lower than the dirt. Ray sat in his small, dusty bookstore in the corner of the capital city. It was the only thing his late father had left him. No one visited. Who would read books when they could be out practicing lightning spells?

Ray sighed and looked at the blank piece of parchment on his desk.

[Ding!]

Suddenly, a cold, mechanical voice rang in his head.

Ray's eyes widened. "A... System? Manga?"

A holographic screen appeared before him. He saw a library of every manga from his past life. Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball... and then, he saw it. The King of them all.

[One Piece].

"If I can't cultivate magic, I'll cultivate a new era," Ray muttered, his heart racing.

He grabbed a quill, but as he touched the paper, his hand moved on its own. It was like the ink was alive. He wasn't just drawing; he was pouring a soul into the paper.

He drew a small boy with a scar under his eye. He drew a red vest and a straw hat. He drew a legendary pirate giving up his arm to save a child.

Two hours later, the first chapter was done.

[Ding! Mission Accomplished.]

[Reward: 1% Luffy Synchronization obtained! Strength and Agility increased.]

[New Skill: Aura of Immersion (Anyone who reads your manga will feel as if they are inside the story).]

Ray felt a surge of energy in his muscles. His senses sharpened. It wasn't magic, but it felt... physical. Powerful.

At that moment, the door of his shop creaked open. A young girl in expensive silk robes walked in, looking bored. She was Lin, the daughter of a local Martial Master.

"Do you have anything... interesting?" she asked, looking at the dusty shelves with disdain. "Everything here is so boring."

Ray didn't say a word. He simply slid the freshly drawn pages of One Piece Chapter 1 across the counter.

"Read this," he said calmly. "It's about a boy who wants to be free."

Lin frowned, looking at the weird black-and-white drawings. "What is this? A 'Manga'? Why is the art so strange?"

She began to read. Ten seconds passed. Thirty seconds.

Suddenly, her eyes went wide. Her breath hitched. She could hear the sound of the ocean. She could feel the heat of the sun. Most of all, she felt the raw emotion of Shanks protecting Luffy.

"This... this isn't a book," she whispered, her hands trembling as she turned the page. "What happens next?! Does he eat the fruit? Does he go to sea?!"

Ray leaned back, a small smirk on his face.

The Great Pirate Era had just begun in a world that wasn't ready for it.
