Chapter 161
GEORGIA POV.
I looked into his eyes to see if he was really there with me.
"I'm back." He said, putting a hand on my cheek, and I started crying hard.
"Nikolaj." I said out loud, and that was it. My dream fell apart.
My eyes opened slowly, and a tear ran from my left eye to my right.
My pillow was already wet, and I put my hand on my heart, which felt more alive than it had since Nikolaj left. I let out a sob and started crying in bed, feeling a wave of pain in my chest.
Why did I have that dream when I hadn't had one in months? Why would a dream hurt me like that? I was already struggling to get by.
I rolled over in bed, and my crying got quieter. Why couldn't the dream last? Why didn't he hold me? Why did I have to talk and wake myself up? It wasn't fair.
After I finished crying, I washed my face in Rheia's pink bathroom.
When I went downstairs, Rheia was eating breakfast in her uniform.
