Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:Reborn as Shamrock

Holy Land, Mary Geoise!

Shanghala—that classical palace where only the Divine Knights were worthy of entry—stood majestic beneath eternal daylight. Even ordinary Celestial Dragons kept their distance, showing reverence the moment its silhouette appeared on the horizon.

Inside the chamber, a faint blue screen hovered quietly before Shamrock's eyes.

He stared at the lines of text appearing across the panel, a flicker of anticipation passing through his gaze.

[ID: Shamrock]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 15]

[Skills: Proficient in all three forms of Haki | Fruit Ability: None]

[Newbie Gift Pack: Obtained "Roger" Template! (Unactivated)]

This year… was the very year the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, would walk toward the execution platform.

The thought of inheriting everything from the Pirate King after his death made the corners of Shamrock's lips curl slightly upward.

But in the next second, he froze.

A terrifying thought flashed through his mind. His face paled instantly, and even his voice trembled.

"System… when you give me Roger's template… that terminal illness of his… it won't be passed on to me too, right?"

[Host, please rest assured.]

The system's response was as calm as ever, though this time it carried a hint of exasperation.

[Your 'Daddy' isn't that cruel.]

Shamrock let out a long breath of relief, as if a ten-thousand-ton weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

He had lived in this world for fifteen years. In his previous life, he had been an eighteen-year-old on Earth, just about to embark on the so-called "path of getting a job." Who would've thought that the moment he had to commute, he'd be sent flying into the stars by a speeding truck?

Before losing consciousness, he had only heard the driver shout in panic—

"I thought that was a speed bump!"

The background music seemed to echo faintly in his mind: "We are all living with all our might…"

When he opened his eyes again, he had become the twin brother of Red-Haired Shanks—Shamrock.

At first, he couldn't tell whether he had become Shanks… or that mysterious Divine Knight of the Celestial Dragons.

Until he saw the first face in this world—Saint Saturn.

The old schemer had been staring at him with a scrutinizing gaze.

In that instant, Shamrock understood.

He was Shamrock—a member of the Divine Knights.

And the thought that he might spend his future as nothing more than a lackey left a bitter taste in his mouth.

Fortunately, at that very moment, the long-awaited voice arrived.

[Multiverse System Binding Successful!]

His cheat… had finally appeared.

Back to the present.

The door to his room was suddenly pushed open.

Shamrock cast a cold glance toward the entrance.

The man who entered was his biological father—Saint Figarland Garling. His tone carried no warmth.

"The Gorosei have summoned us. Come."

Shamrock quickly finished preparing and followed Saint Figarland Garling toward the Room of Authority.

He wore a black-trimmed knight's court uniform, a white silk shirt beneath it, and a black belt fastened at his waist. High leather boots reached his knees, a cloak draped over his shoulders, and a slender rapier rested at his side.

Though his face still carried youthful softness, it already exuded undeniable nobility and striking handsomeness.

Along the way, Celestial Dragon girls stopped one after another, their eyes sparkling with admiration.

"Look—it's Shamrock!"

"How can someone look so dazzling just walking…?"

"Ah! Did he just glance over here?"

Several young male Celestial Dragons immediately scoffed, unable to hide their jealousy.

"He's just a kid who hasn't even fully grown yet. What's the big deal?"

"He's not even a Divine Knight. Why the attitude? His father's just a commander."

"Exactly. The Shepherd Family has produced Gorosei and Divine Knights. What does the Figarland Family amount to?"

The girls shot back instantly, their expressions filled with disdain.

"Shut up, you losers!"

"Just admit you're jealous."

"You—!"

The boys flushed red with anger.

Shamrock's gaze swept over them indifferently.

That single glance was like a stone thrown into still water, sending ripples through the crowd.

"He looked at me! I know he did!" one girl exclaimed, clutching her flushed cheeks.

"Don't be ridiculous—he was clearly looking at me!" another shot back.

Their argument escalated instantly.

A freckled girl timidly spoke up, "Um… I think he was looking at me…"

Before she could finish, the other two froze—then burst into laughter.

The freckled girl stood there, face burning red.

Up ahead, Shamrock acted as if he had seen and heard nothing.

He didn't slow down. His cloak swayed behind him in a steady arc, though the corners of his lips tightened ever so slightly.

The girls, drawn as if by gravity, subconsciously followed him for several steps before being sternly stopped by their elders, forcing them to reluctantly look away.

The Room of Authority!

Inside the grand hall, the Gorosei stood in different positions, their auras cold and oppressive.

Saint Topman Warcury sat at the center, dressed in a crisp black suit. Beneath his white beard, his expression was unreadable, his fingers interlocked as still as stone.

Saint Marcus Mars and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter stood near the pillars.

One, silver-haired, kept his gaze lowered as he read from a document.

The other, blond, stood in silence—his posture sharp as a blade.

Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, clad in a white robe, stood out even in the shadows. Leaning on his staff, his bald head slightly lowered, he appeared as steady as a rooted pillar.

Saint Saturn sat alone to the side. Dark patterns flowed subtly across his deep-colored suit as he remained focused on the documents in his hands, never once looking up.

The hall was deathly silent.

The moment Shamrock stepped inside, an overwhelming pressure descended upon him, making his breathing hitch slightly.

Saint Sommers and the bandaged Gunko were already waiting to the side, their expressions showing clear impatience.

Saint Sommers frowned and spoke bluntly, relying on his status.

"Garling, you're late. Do you have no sense of time?"

Before he could finish, his gaze shifted—and landed on Shamrock.

"…Why is he here?" His tone sharpened. "By the rules, he has no right to step foot in this hall."

The moment those words were spoken, every gaze in the room fell upon Shamrock and Saint Figarland Garling.

Garling remained completely unfazed.

He cast a faint glance at Sommers before speaking calmly.

"I intended to wait until the Five Elders had concluded their matters before bringing this up… but it seems you lack patience, Sommers."

He stepped forward slightly, guiding Shamrock ahead.

His voice rose, now carrying unmistakable pride.

"Allow me to introduce my son—Shamrock. With his current strength, he is already qualified to serve as a Divine Blade."

Divine Blade…?

Shamrock cursed inwardly.

Garling… you really are my biological father.
