The Golden World was not just a company or legacy but a definition of power. Alexander Harrison sat at the CEO chair in the meeting room. The tension in the room can make anyone shit their pants. The one presenting was sweating. Alexander had a cold and emotionless face. No one knew what he was thinking. His face did not display any reaction. It made others even more nervous. His assistant Jack stood besides him concentrating on the meeting.
"STOP." Alexander's voice echoed in the meeting room. The presenter stiffened looking at his boss. His mind conflicted wondering where he went wrong. Alexander looked at other people in the meeting room.
"Is this what I pay you for? " He asked voice cold. "Useless idiots!" He shouted. Everyone looked down. No one dared to interfere or look him in the eye. Alexander stood up and looked at his workers.
"I want a new report on my desk by 6pm. Dismissed!" Everyone quickly left the meeting room. Alexander stood up and headed to his office while his assistant, Jack was following behind. He reached his office and released an irritated sigh.
Alexander was a man who valued perfection. He did not tolerate mistakes. His assistant Jack took a deep breath wondering if he should deliver the news he had to tell his boss. Looking at his boss he knew it's the wrong time but not telling him will also bring consequences.
"Sir, the deal with Royal tech is not yet finalized. They are hosting a business party next month and they expect you to come with Mrs Harrison."
Silence filled the office. The air seemed colder and tense. Alexander looked at his assistant who was praying in his heart for God to save him.
"Did you not tell them that it's not possible?" Alexander asked looking at Jack coldly. The man's forehead was now covered in sweat.
"I did but they refused. CEO Harrison they refuse to give the contract without meeting the madam."
Alexander clenched his jaw. He put on his suit jacket and turned to his assistant. "I'm leaving. Make sure you receive the report at 6pm."
Jack nodded as Alexander left the office. He headed to the VIP parking lot and his driver opened the door for him. His mind was calculating.
"Where to Sir?" The driver asked voice steady. One thing everyone knew was that Alexander did not tolerate weakness.
"Harrisson mansion." The driver started the engine and headed to the destination. They arrived at the Harrison mansion an hour later because it was at the outskirts of the city.
The car stopped in front of the mansion. The guard opened the door for Alexander and he got off. He headed inside while the guards put their heads down not to look him in the eye. Alexander reached inside and was greeted by his mother, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth calm, elegant and composed looked at her son proudly and her red lips formed a genuine smile. Alexander kissed her cheek.
"Hello mama." He greeted with respect. Elizabeth smiled and patted her son's head. "You are home early." She responded sipping her wine.
"I have an important matter to settle." Alexander responded. Elizabeth turned to her son wondering what the matter was about. Alexander noticed the curious gaze on his mother's face and chuckled.
"Mama, the Royal Tech want me to show up with a wife and they will sign a contract." Elizabeth frowned.
"But why? Alexander this is risky and you know that." Elizabeth responded. "Then I have to look for a wife." Alexander said coldly.
"I will need to make public appearances and I obviously need a wife sometimes. So please help me find a woman to marry." Elizabeth chuckled and took out her phone and her eyes landed on a message from one of the lady from her tea parties.
'My daughter has returned from the States. Diana wants to meet Alexander. She has always adored him. Madam Elizabeth please put in a good word for my daughter.'
Elizabeth smirked and looked at her son. "Don't worry. I have someone perfect to be your wife son. I will arrange a meeting with the family." Alexander nodded and stood up.
"I will head upstairs. Mama no disturbance please." Elizabeth chuckled. Warmth spreading in her heart. She nodded as she watched her son leave. She quickly typed a message on her phone.
'Mrs Sinclair let's meet tomorrow for lunch. I want to have a word with you.'
Of course Mrs Sinclair responded immediately agreeing to the meeting. Elizabeth knew everyone wanted to get on her good side. She was like an idol for others.
Meanwhile a lady entered the Harrison household. Messy red hair and red lipstick. Her lips formed a smile when she saw Elizabeth.
"Mama, I'm home." Elizabeth stood up and hugged her. "Isla you are not eating at all. You are all skinny." Elizabeth complained. Isla chuckled.
Being an actress sometimes forced her to go on a strict diet to maintain her figure. Isla had a perfect body. Small waist, c size boobs and long legs and glass skin.
"Mama come on. I'm fine and full. You are just worrying too much. Where is Alex and Max?" Isla asked casually.
"Well Max is not home yet. Alex is in his room." Isla nodded.
Both mother and daughter duo started catching up.

Meanwhile, Mrs Sinclair was on cloud nine after receiving a message from Elizabeth. The staff looked at her wondering if she won a lottery. Her daughter Diana frowned.
"Mom what's going on?" Diana asked casually. Mrs Sinclair looked at her daughter with a smile.
"Elizabeth requested to meet me for lunch tomorrow. We have to go together and make sure you impress her. You might win Alexander." Hearing this Diana's face stretched into a grin.
"Mom, you are right. I will go with you tomorrow. I will impress her and I will become close to Alex." Diana responded with a grin.
Her mother nodded understanding her. Mrs Sinclair and her family are a bunch of greedy people. They value money so much. They are not part of the prestigious familes but there were considered upper class.
Having relations with the Harrison's can make them gain a lot. Thinking of all this Mrs Sinclair smiled. Diana was also in her imaginary world. Thinking about vacations, shopping and being served in the Harrison household. She vowed to be Alexander's wife no matter the price she has to pay.

The morning sun shined on the Harrison family house. The dining table was filled with different delicacies .Alexander was at the head of the table. The table was filled with conversations and laughter. Well the Harrison family considered everyone an outsider expect for themselves.
One must share the same blood with them inorder to be loved and respected by them. Max the youngest son was making jokes making everyone laugh. They were enjoying their breakfast.
Later everyone stood up heading to their respective jobs. Elizabeth looked at Isla, her beautiful daughter.
"Meet me at Moon restaurant at two." Isla nodded and left. The house suddenly felt empty.
Later in the day Elizabeth prepared to meet Mrs Sinclair. She wore her designer dress and and headed out. She reached the restaurant and saw Isla approaching also. They headed inside and the waiter showed them to the private room they booked.
The two entered inside and saw Diana and her mother. Diana immediately stood up.
"Madam Elizabeth nice to meet you. I'm Diana. The only daughter of the Sinclair family." Elizabeth smiled, sweet and welcoming.
"Nice to meet you too. Mrs Sinclair you have a beautiful daughter indeed. This is my daughter Isla" Elizabeth responded. Mrs Sinclair chuckled a smile on her lips.
"Well that's our daughter. Diana was in the states. You know she is a model. So she travels a lot. I have to say Isla is very beautiful" Mrs Sinclair added.
"Let's order." Elizabeth said and everyone ordered their food.
"Mrs Sinclair, I really like your daughter and I want her to marry my son Alexander." Elizabeth added.
The mother and daughter duo froze. They both grinned. This is what they wanted.
"Well isn't that amazing. My daughter has been in love with your son for so long. I'm sure she agrees." Diana smiled and nodded.
"Yes, I agree." She said eagerly. Elizabeth smiled and they continued to have lunch.
"Really?" Isla asked coldly. Diana frowned and was about to respond when Elizabeth interrupted.
"Okay then. We can have the engagement tomorrow and the wedding on Saturday. Don't worry. I will handle everything." Elizabeth said with a smile.
Diana was on cloud nine. Finally her dream has come true being 'Lady Harrison' . She was already imagining herself ordering servants. Shopping bags and then Alexander being in his embrace.
"Okay, I shall leave you to it. Let me go and start preparing. You will meet my son at the engagement. You know how busy he is. The both of you could have met today." Elizabeth said with a smile.
"Of course." Elizabeth left the restaurant. Diana and her mother were so excited.
"Wow mom finally. I will be Lady Harrison. I will rule everything. I will live the most luxurious life." Diana said feeling excited.
"Yes my child. Now Alexander is yours. Take over the Harrison household and control everything. Imagine the popularity."
They were so excited.
Meanwhile Elizabeth reached her son's office. Everyone greeted her with respect. She entered his office and he welcomed her.
"We found the girl you are going to marry." Elizabeth said making Alexander smirk.
