"Hmm mmm hmm mmm" Scarlett was humming to an unknown tune while caressing her baby bump.
"Mama taught that woman a lesson. No one insults you my baby boy. Mama will protect you." Scarlett said softly.
"Ruby." She saw Amar standing at the door. Amar always did Scarlett's make up. She left Liyeni to handle Diana.
"Amar come in." Scarlett said coldly as Amar entered with a smile.
"How are you? Oh my pregnancy made you look even more adorable. I want to pinch those cheeks." Amar said happily.
"Me? Adorable?" Scarlett asked as Amar chuckled because Scarlet hated being called adorable though she was.
"Just playing. Let's do your make up and hair. Take a bath first or should I help you?" Amar asked.
"Help me." Scarlett said as Amar led her to the bathroom.

The Harrison mansion was filled with guests who were coming. Elizabeth wore a white dress that was hugging her figure. She had simple make up but it was on point.
Her hair was in a neat bun no lose curls. Elizabeth was welcoming the guest gracefully. Everyone complimented the mansion, her outfit and her children.
"Thank you for inviting us Elizabeth. Beautiful as always." One of the guests said as they entered.
The hall was almost filled with elite business men and women.
Mr and Mrs Sinclair arrived with smug grins on their face. Why not? This party is to welcome the new daughter in law of the Harrison family— their own daughter.
"Elizabeth petite as always. Thank you for the party." Mrs Sinclair said with a hint of arrogance. Elizabeth of course noticed.
"Of course. We are family now. Please come inside." Elizabeth said softly as the duo entered inside.
Their eyes almost popped out of their sockets looking inside the mansion. They have never seen such a beautiful and luxurious mansion.
"wow darling. This is amazing. I can't believe our daughter is ruling over this palace." Mrs Sinclair said with awe.
"This place is amazing. Thank God we will get invited here more often. Or we can even come without an invitation. We are in-laws after all." Mr Sinclair said already imagining themselves coming over.
They have never been invited to the Harrison mansion after all there are not on the same level as the Harrisons and other prestigious families that includes the Danvers, Royals and Philips.
"Elizabeth!" A voice said softly. Elizabeth smiled looking at Mrs Danvers, Scarlett's mother, father and brother.
"Oh my. I'm happy you could make it." Elizabeth said hugging Margaret, Joseph and Liam.
"Oh Liam my child, I'm surprised you made it." Elizabeth said as Liam chuckled.
"I couldn't miss it for the world. Max send me a thousand messages threatening me to come." Liam said as they laughed.
Everyone started whispering as they saw the Danvers.
"The Danvers are here. Where is their daughter anyway? " One of the guests asked.
"I last saw her years ago. Where did she go to? I thought she would end up as Alexander's bride." Another responded.
"They looked so good together. I was surprised to see him marrying someone not in his standards." The other added.
"Love what can we do about it." Another responded as they laughed.
Mr and Mrs Sinclair who heard the whispers glared at the Danvers. They felt hatred towards them but they cannot do anything otherwise the Danvers will crush them.
Elizabeth took a mic as everyone looked at her.
"Thank you all for coming today. Today is the day we welcome and celebrate a new addition to the family. Our daughter in law. I'm glad you all came to celebrate with us. Please welcome my son, my pride Alexander and his wife Diana." Elizabeth said as Alexander came downstairs with Diana.
Their hands were intertwined. Diana had a smile on her face. However go, Alexander had a cold face. She was wearing a red dress that showed all her curves. Her cleavage was exposed and it had a slit on her right leg.
"Hunny, you didn't compliment me today." Diana said bitterly as she remembered how Alexander just badged in her room and asked her to follow him. She was so angry right now.
Alexander did not respond as they reached downstairs and started mingling with the guests.
"Wow Diana. You are so lucky." Bella said while looking around for Max.
"Max is still upstairs so chill." Diana said laughing.
Suddenly the lights turned off as all the guests got confused. The lights switched on. Everyone was shocked seeing a beautiful pregnant lady on top of the stairs with Max and Isla behind her.
She was wearing a long off shoulder black gown. Her hair was tied into a messy bun with some curls framing her face. Her lips were as red as blood. Her hand was on her bump.
Isla behind her was wearing the green dress Scarlett got for her. It was a no arm dress. Her hair was falling on her shoulders. Max was in a black suit.
Whispers filled the hall as she got down. Scarlett had a cold face as always.
"Isn't that Scarlett Ruby Danvers?" One of the guest whispered.
"Oh my it's her. She is so beautiful. She is like a dark angel." The other responded.
"Look, she is pregnant." Another chimmed in.
Diana glared at Scarlett as she walked down the stairs.
'This woman just stole my spotlight.' Diana thought.
"Diana, isn't that Scarlett? Damn the rumours are true about her beauty." Bella said while looking at Scarlett.
"I hate that woman. Do you know Alexander dots on her so much. I just hate it" Diana responded face red with anger.
"So its true she stays here. Just look at her. She is threat. What if she seduces Alexander?" Bella said glaring at Scarlett.
"I wish she could just fall down the stairs." Diana said codly.
"Woah that's dark even for you." Bella responded.
"I just can't help it. She is a threat. I know she wants my man. I'm not going to let her have him. Never." Diana said as she glanced at Alexander who was looking at Scarlett.
