Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Twilight's POV

I saw Fae walk back in and I saw Isla visibly relax. Fae laughed at us a bit, Isla threw a rock at her and I chuckled.

"Continue your story General."

And she did

"I personally don't think we should be that bothered over someone who tried to fight for the poor? Like you said "degenerate" she was doing what she could to survive." Alexandro said.

"Actually, it's true. The best you can do right now is make sure she doesn't get her hand on more archives. That's if you have something to hide our dearest king." Alexandria seconded.

Alexandro and Alexandris are children of Arturo, one of the elders in the elder council.

"Hush, first there's nothing to hide. She should dig as deep as she wants. There's nothing she would be able to do if she doesn't make it out of there." The king said flatly.

"I don't consider it necessary. If she's so smart and dangerous why not bring her in to work for you and your win against other kingdoms. Plus your people aren't aware of the incoming war." I finished.

"I'll think about it, consider this meeting over." The king dismissed us.

I decided to head to a tree cafe nearby, then go check up on my dragon.

I felt a pull on my arm."Don't think I don't see the way twilight flirts with you and you actually smile. I hope you are aware that same sex relationships are forbidden in this kingdom and if you get caught you'll be stripped of every status you hold." James started rambling.

"I hope you are aware that a captain holding a general in such a manner can get you stripped of your measly status James." I pulled my hand out of his grip.

"And never in your life till you die accuse me of such because I see no reason why your

panties are in a twist. If you want her, take her. But he rest assured your father would disown you for bringing such home." I walked away from him.

"I hate James with everything in me and I hope he dies soon." She completed as she released her breath.

I loved how she made me see everything from her eyes but I didn't know what surprised me more, her defending me or them talking about me like I'm some kind of disease or degenerate.

"Why did you defend me? I'm a degenerate aren't I? Aren't you meant to put me in chains and send me back?" I looked her in the eyes.

"Because that's not my job. You deserve to live like a human. They are scared of what you'll become and I couldn't really care less." She urged Fae to come forward.

"And Twilight, stop trying to flirt with me. I don't support same sex relationships and you're not my type if I did." She got on Fae.

I put my hand on my chest feigning hurt.

"Find your way back before I get there." And she flew away.

I ran. Jumped trees, hung around a bit and we both arrived at the same time.

Fae slowed down right in front of me.

"Get under, human." I didn't even question the voice, I just did.

Getting back in was pretty easy. Dragons were not guarded, after Isla came down, Fae

roamed around on her own, finding me a safe spot to come out.

"Thanks Fae." She scoffed at me and walked away.

I quickly looked for Prati but I bumped into Alexandris instead.

"Hi Princess." She said as she stood in front of me.

"Not a princess darling, I'm a rogue, remember" she blushed. These girls were literal characters."You shouldn't be using endearing terms on a prisoner either." I blew her a kiss and walked away.

My neck started itching me and I remembered the lines on my neck. It was dinner time, my plan was to make Inter in record time back to my room so I can take a good look at my neck and think properly.

"Where did you go?" Prati asked immediately as I sat down.

"You went somewhere?" Lysa followed.

"Yeah, I just went to scout the area, that's all." I didn't want to talk so much about it.

I noticed Ryan at the corner of the dining room. Ryan was James' right hand man and he probably kept him there thinking I wouldn't notice but the wall that has ears also has a

mouth.

"Everyone a single file! To your rooms!!" The soldiers bellowed.

On my way back to my room. Lysa stood behind me.

"Twilight I don't know if you've noticed but there's some kind of lines on your neck.

Probably as a result of poisoning." She pushed a bottle inside my pocket.

"It'll help with the spreading and it'll hide the lines." She said and stood straight.

"Thanks Lys." I was moved back to my floor.

That's when I saw the red haired witch again. Willow.

"Move girls. Let's call it a night." The soldiers urged us.

While I was undressing I took a good look at the patterns showing on my neck.

It had extended like a vine down my chest, it looked like a really pretty tattoo but I had no

idea where it was stemming from.

I applied the lotion Lysa had given me. Immediately I received a pounding headache, everywhere started spinning.

And…I blacked out.

In my subconscious I saw Fae and she spoke to me.

"Be careful Twilight or you might cut your life shorter than it's already becoming"
