The wind blew softly across the rocky riverbank as the sun began to set. The sky glowed orange and purple, reflecting on the flowing water. Standing quietly near the river was Arin, a quiet high school student who always seemed lost in thought.
Most people in his town thought he was just another ordinary boy. He wore the same school uniform as everyone else, walked the same dusty roads, and sat silently in class. But deep inside him, something strange was awakening.
Arin stared at the water. The river moved calmly, yet he felt a storm growing inside his chest.
"Why do I feel like something big is about to happen?" he whispered to himself.
Suddenly, a strange breeze rushed past him. The water in the river began to ripple unnaturally. The rocks around him vibrated slightly, as if responding to an unseen power.
Arin stepped back in shock.
A faint blue glow appeared around his hands.
"What… what is this?" he said, staring at his palms.
Before he could understand what was happening, a deep voice echoed in his mind.
"The power has finally awakened…"
Arin froze.
"Who said that?!" he shouted, looking around. But the riverbank was empty.
The voice spoke again, calm but powerful.
"Your destiny has begun, Arin."
A bright flash of light burst from his hands, lighting the entire riverbank.
Far away, hidden in the shadows of the mountains, someone opened their eyes.
A mysterious figure smiled.
"So… the chosen one has awakened."
Back at the river, Arin fell to his knees, breathing heavily.
He didn't know it yet…
